Nothing artificial.
Great taste and nothing artificial. I gave them four instead of five stars because the exterior wrappers are so very sticky. I can't take them anywhere. But I certainly plan on buying them again--with a canister of wipes, of course.

Best Zinc/Elderberry Lozenges
We swear by these lozenges to boost immunity at first sign of a cold. They taste great and are very reasonably priced. The aftertaste from the zinc is very minimal and no one has nausea from these vs other brands. I was pleased to see the value size bag. Taken at first sign of symptoms, we always have a short illness with fewer symptoms. Highly recommend.

Herbal cough suppressant
The only thing I don't like about this is the aftertaste. I prefer using pure sugar and no artificial sweeteners, especially stevia. After about a week of using these lozenges, the coughing cleared almost 100%. No more of the regular cough syrup and cough drops for me. I rated a 4 because of the aftertaste,

Building immunity deliciously
My doctor recommended these to me to boost my immunity and I was afraid the zinc would taste like sucking on a nail, but these drops are really tasty. They remind me of lollipops, but the sweetness comes from brown rice sugar. These have an 80 count, so will last a while. I like this brand.

Clean ingredients, possibly helpful supplement for COVID-19 prevention
I'm a physician and had heard from a virologist that using a zinc lozenge may help to reduce viral replication in the oropharynx, where coronaviruses tend to sit and may then be inhaled to cause respiratory infection (although COVID-19 is ultimately far more than just a respiratory disease). It doesn't just matter if you're exposed to the virus, but also by how much. And delivery method matters. As far as I understand, zinc lozenges are best because then you're slowly coating the throat over a period of minutes, instead of just eating a gummy/pill/powder that goes into the digestive tract and is absorbed systemically. This doesn't mean that zinc can fully prevent COVID-19 and it certainly cannot cure it, but it may theoretically assist in some level of prevention. Preservatives and added ingredients/sugar are also harmful to health. These lozenges are the best of all worlds- tasty, clean/minimal ingredients, lozenge form. This lozenge alone will not prevent or cure COVID-19. Wear a high-quality mask that covers the nose and mouth when you go out (we release thousands of droplets per second just by talking), physically distance 6+ feet even when wearing a mask, avoid touching things in public, wash your hands regularly and use non-toxic hand sanitizer with 60-70%+ alcohol content when soap and water isn't available, and stay home/get tested/seek medical advice if you're sick.Don't exceed ~100% daily value of zinc intake because too much zinc can weaken the immune system. And as I always recommend, especially with any lozenge supplement due to the repetitive sucking action, teach yourself how to do the Heimlich maneuver for others but also how to self-Heimlich.*Please note, this review is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.*

It’s a good lozenge, but not as strong and effective as an essential oil lozenge I’m used to.
The elderberry lozenge has good flavor and was effective to stave off coughing, but it was not as strong or effective as an essential oil lozenge I’m used to and prefer.

Good Deal
Price ($19) is competitive with Whole Foods ($18)...but I missed the boat when EREWHON opened...they were selling it for $14 but now they don't carry it anymore...hhhmmm.

Noticibly different and more sweet than before
The flavor has changed and the sweetness is greater than I've tasted before. It's not as palatable.
