Let me start with the build of the body: I thought it was extremely solid. The internal design of the shoulder joints is very strong and there’s a unique torso bending gimmick. The legs are also strong. The only part that I found to be weak is the ball joint for the wrist. When trying to pose this model kit with its sword in hand can cause the wrist to sag in many poses. I get that it’s a big sword, but Astaroth and Perfect Strike have no problem holding their big swords. The overall articulation of this kit is flexible and modern as expected of HG Revive kits. In terms of detail, I was also very impressed. The body of the Gundam includes some color separated parts from the accessory runners, which is smart. The blue parts on the chest come on the sword’s runner, and the black parts on the knees come from the backpack’s runner. I had an easy time panel lining with my grey fine tip sharpie and I got great results. I love the way it looks on the legs. Of course the main stand-out feature is the giant effect parts that come with the kit for attaching to the wings. I feel like it’s rare to get anything like this included in typical HG. That was definitely part of my reason for wanting to buy… And I was not disappointed. The shelf presence and size is so over the top for an HG it’s amazing. Note that this kit does not come with an action base. Based on the images that were shown, I guess I thought it came with one. With the wing effects added on, you will most definitely want to display this on an action base if you have one. If not, I recommend investing in one if you want to display this kit. Or do what I did and make an action base with leftover runner parts. Either way this Gundam begs to be displayed in flight. The accessories are awesome. I love the way that they fold up to store on the backpack. The sword is taller than the Gundam itself! The gun can be stored on the back skirt armor, and you get effect parts for beam boomerangs and the wings and the sword. You also get an effect part for the palm blast, but I managed to break the peg off into the hole in the palm. Be careful with that. Oh yeah and I forgot to mention that there’s two shields. One shield attaches on the side of the arm and has a very cool expansion gimmick. The other is a beam shield that can attach to the back of the hand. I’m not so sure about that design though… it makes the wrist sag and pops off the hand easily. All in all, this is a top tier HG. There are awesome options for display, solid build, great details and accessories. Amazing wings.

Holy hell this thing is a beast at articulation. The legs, waist, arms, abs, head!!!!! My god is this thing a beast. You get some great goodies to go along with it. Cons: The wings aren’t as articulate as let’s say the Freedom as shown. So it won’t bend all the way back. The Excalibur sword is a bit finicky when slotted as it may slip off. The arms will also tend to slip off when you’re adjusting for a pose so be careful, they’ll slide right back though so not all bad. Overall I love this guy, still hate Shinn but meh. So if you like Seed Destiny and wanna build this guy for a low price, GO FOR IT!!!! Cuz you won’t regret it for sure. ENJOY!!!!

This is an excellent kit. It has a sturdy build and overall the kit holds together quite well. Remove parts from runners carefully. Accidentally snapped off a finger from one of the hands while removing them. Nothing a little super glue can't fix. I recommend also super gluing the V-fin on the head since it has a tendency to fall off. There are also a few parts which tend to separate when posing, I also recommend gluing them down. The mobile suit's aesthetics are top teir and iconic; capturing not only the color scheme of the RX-78 (albeit with a darker shade of primary blue) but it's nibble, agile design as well. Though the clown-like face design can be polarizing to some long time gundam fans. This kit is becoming rarer and rarer to find. If you get the chance buy it.

While lacking in the detail that is present in the RG version from line detail to piece seperation, the HG Revive Destiny kit offers instead anime accurate recreation of what is featured within the show including detail, accessories, and articulation that won't sag or droop in less than 2 months because you want to put it in a cool pose but in the inner frame weighs it down... I personally really like this product and had a really fun time building it. It is very good quality and easy to pose if you buy a cheap stand to go with it. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is because some parts fit loose but they still stay on and one of the extra hands I tried to pull out but ended up breaking the pinkie finger. Overall a very great model for the price!

Fastest build Ive done and yet it looks amazing, full range of motion , beautiful clear pieces for effects and very easy to pose .. this is a beginner friendly build (in my opinion)

This was a fun kit to build. Great color separation and articulation. Seems to be holding up very well. Comes with a lot off accessories. One of the best kits I've bought for the price.
