Joe's Juice Aiptasia Eliminator 20 mL

My reef tank had an aptasia outbreak. I bought a file fish and once the aptasia was gone, I rehomed my fish to a friend who also had an outbreak. For some reason weeks after I didn’t have the file fish, all the aptasia seem to have came back so much worse. I tried this product out, so that I wouldn’t have to buy another fish and it worked great! I got all the big ones and the ones bothering my corals. There are still some tiny aptasias left that I couldn’t get to because of the rocks, but I will definitely be purchasing this product again to finish the job and I highly recommend it for fellow reefers with aptasia outbreaks.

I kid you not, my reef tank was gonna be a goner. After 2 months of trying everything, aiptasia-rX and buying a filefish, I was trying to find any spot to move any corals I could to any rock space that didn’t have aiptasia. Bought this as a “last resort” and now, it will be my ONLY resort. I watched it work WITHIN MINUTES, and the results OVERNIGHT blew my mind. Corals were completely fine, fish were completely fine. I’m actually buying more today for a few stragglers bc I didn’t buy enough the first time. This is the real deal, it’s cheap, and works 100%. Wish I had taken before pics but, again, I never leave reviews. Pull the trigger(fish) on this product!!

+ Product was easy to put together and fill+ Works very quickly, killed the anemone in about 10 minutes+ Container has enough to kill ~100 anemones- Liquid was very thick and hard to lightly use- Anemone retracted when fed, but still killed it- It sinks to the bottom rather than staying in the water column, so it is hard to get anemones that face downIt has been only three days, so I will give an update if more anemones appear in the same location. I would tank one of the suggestions in the instructions to thin out the liquid with tank water so it is easier to apply,

I own and operate a local youth facility. We have many reef tanks located throughout the facility. We have had aiptasia introduced to our tanks at various times when introducing new corals that we had thought to have been clear of pests through dip or QT. Can take a few treatments but once you have them under control it is just simple spot treatment here and there. I prefer this product over the Red Sea Aiptasia X product.

There are thick pieces of product (no matter how much I shook container) that made trying to use the applicator impossible. I even tried without the included tip, and tried with another applicator I had, no go. Unable to use product.

I wish I would have taken photos first. somehow my reef tank encountered an outbreak of Aiptasia anemones think it come in on live food. but anyway, in just a few days it had spread from one to a full invasion. was skeptical of using chemicals in My reef tank like this. but my last peppermint shrimp had disappeared months back. they are true safe Controle of stowaways like Aiptasia. this nuisance anemone can become out of control in a matter of a few weeks if undetected. so, i needed a fast fix! after doing a little research i found Joe's juice. some good some bad reviews. so, i bought the stuff with little hope. but to my Suprise the stuff worked with one application. simple to use. fill the syringe with a few CC's and shut down all water flow. applied vigoroso amount to all the anemone cluster. two days now and no sign of them. and no wanted corals suffered from Joe's juice. it does harden under salt water so siphoned off the Magarity first. then after re starting filters and power heads flakes left floated into filter. keeping a bottle on hand in the event of another hitch hiker attack.

I bought this product hopeful that it would get rid of some aptasia. It actually did the opposite. I only had small ones here and there,but after this product, it only made them get bigger and multiply.

I used it last night on 3 Aiptasia shot it right in the face and they all curled up to die.Then I checked on them this morning and they are still curled up and no signs of life.If anything changes I will update my review.
