Having tried many face creams over the years I’ve finally found the best! The ‘cream’ is more like a soft balm in the jar, but when it touches your skin it turns in to a wonderful nourishing scented oil. After a minute or so the ‘oil’ absorbs into your face leaving soft and moisturised skin. I have dry skin and I’ve really appreciated it, especially this winter in minus temperatures. It’s felt nourishing and protective. Will definitely buy again and hopefully more from this lovely looking range. It also smells beautiful and gives me a lift when I apply it.

This face cream is absolutely amazing. I was looking for a natural option for an ageing cream. Have tried many others before which was all right but still had chemicals which I am trying to stop in my life. After reading some lines I knew this will be the one for me. The lady who makes this product has been through the same struggle to find a good quality cream like me and starting to create her own was what got me to buy this. I am using the cream for a week now and trully a small is enough to use and gives your face and neck a beautiful feeling. I don't know how my face will change or will have less wrinkles but knowing how good it is for my skin and smells amazing is enough for me. Highly recommend these products and will buy again as soon as I used this up. Thank you for making this possible.

I love this anti aging face cream. I am always looking for natural products that won't completely destroy the health or myself and my family. I found this cream and decided to take the plunge and order it. It makes my skin feel so soft and it smells like I'm in a spa. I have noticed fine lines become less noticeable due to the moisturising properties. It heats on the skin and fingers and can feel a tad oily at first. That doesnt last long as the mixture quickly absorbs leaving the skin feeling dewy and supple. I don't know how I coped without this cream and can honestly say I love it and won't be wearing anything else.

A glowy and moisturising balm, leaving skin feeling soft and nourished! I have really sensitive skin on my face and so far I haven't had any adverse reactions to it. I have only used it for a few days and l have put away my clinique products for now! My skin looks lovely when I wake up. I use a little during the day, in dryer areas of my face. My make-up sits on top of it perfectly, giving me a lovely subtle glow.I highly recommend this beautiful, natural product.

The serum is lovely and light and smells beautiful but it's a facial oil. It sinks in and moisturises well. The face cream is more of a set oil balm. It's nice to use but it has a slight strange smell when I apply it that I don't like. The smell fades quickly and leaves a frankincense scent on the skin that's quite strong. I prefer the serum but I was looking for a lighter serum and cream combo to wear together and these are two oils that are very heavy when combined and my skin can be quite dry. I'm going to use the cream as a make up remover with a face cloth and a night cream and the serum as a day moisturiser under a light cream. The products are nice, natural and a good price for the quality. Just not quite what I was expecting.

This cream is worth every penny! It feels and smells amazing. It is very pure and it feels like an act of self love and care to use it daily. I also apply it to my heart space and hands as it is rose. It feels like it works on an energetic basis due to the oils in it. Highly recommended. You only need to apply a small amount. I am hoping there will be a whole body cream available at one point.

The skin care products I've bought from The Ilex Wood have been brilliant. I have combination skin which is exceedingly sensitive to all manner of perfumes and chemicals you often find in products these days, I can safely say that (after more than a month of solid use) these are the best products I've found by a long shot.The scents offered are a lovely blend, which melt beautifully with just a touch of heat from the fingers and face. The product, because the balm is so thick and dense, lasts for ages as a very small amount truly does go a long long way.My skin has never felt better or more balanced as it does now, just one month on. The packaging is also lovely and something I intend to keep and use again and again after washing.10/10, I really could not give higher praise for a better product. Outstanding in every category.

Frankincense and Bergamot face balm. This is a wonderful product. I dont usually use any products on my face but after reading about the care and love that goes into this product i wanted to give it a try. My skin has never been happier. The balm soaks in like magic and leaves no greasy feel at all. It smells delightful. Respect to the makers. My face feels nourished and looks better than it has done for years.
