The Pros, Price is Right and the Shipping was fast and was packaged nicely. It fit up nicely and the clutch wire was correct.The Cons, The pump was packed good but the caps on the ports had no lip so when you install the pump and remove the block-off plate, that is where everything goes to s*** in a handbag. The caps will slip inside the pump and you will have to remove the pump to retrieve the rubber plugs that have NO lip to keep them from going very deep into the pump housing. So you take off the pump and you have to turn it upside down which the Pac oil is dumped out to get the rubber plug. You ask why I did not take the plugs out first? Well, good question, if you take the plugs out the oil will spill out when you rotate the pump to get it into place [I was working on an HHR] and there is no easy way to get the pump in unless you go straight up from the bottom and the tilt 180 degrees and then you can line up to the holes. By then all the oil is on the floor or you.Lastly, I have installed 100+ ac pumps over my life span and I have never installed a pump that did not come with new O-rings. And this was the clincher. A 1hr job ended up being 2 hrs with the missing O-ring and new Pac oil to finish the job. It is on a vacuum now and seems to be holding a good vacuum. I will update if any issues occur after charging.This review is for your information so you won't get caught without the needed equipment to finish this job.If You have the new O-rings and find a better way to keep the oil in the ports when maneuvering the pump into place, then I would recommend this ac pump, but if you are a DIYer and don't have all the part ready to use, I would say play it safe and pass to go find a better pump.

Bought this to replace a failing compressor on my 2006 saturn ion. It arrived and took me about a week to open it up and actually look at it. The pulley had nicks and chunks on it like it had been dropped after install, the whole unit literally everything except the pulley and clutch were painted a dark gray. No identifying labels, the electrical connector every single part painted a flat gray. I decided instead of getting my files and such out and chancing fixing the pulley i would return the unit. With the damage to the pulley i couldnt be sure the internals werent damaged. It was packed like that. The box was fine. Bubble wrapped all nice and pretty but still damaged with new shiny nicks that left sharp edges that would have destroyed a serpentine belt if ran on them.

The product arrived ahead of time. I've installed the compressor the following day. Word of caution, make sure you remove the black rubber plugs underneath the connection cover plate before installation. I've used gasket material underneath the plate to prevent the compressor oil from leaking out compressor oil when you are maneuvering the compressor into place . Charged the AC with 134A refrigerant and the vent temperature changed from 125 F to 50 F during our little heat wave here in Canada just outside of Toronto.

Decided to go with a remanufactured compressor for a beginner driver's first car, and it was just what the doctor ordered to allow her to ride with air

Very apparent thesis we rebuilt, new spray pant all over, the clutch harness wiring was broken from before. I am not confident how long this will work. Not too convinced anything other cleaning and paint was performed on this before selling

Returned for full credit because of problem!

So far so good. Only used the ac once after putting this on. But it worked.

I bought this really confident, bur it didnt work even bought a cpl things to make sure it would. But was vey disappointed and still no AC in Arizona!!!! 😣
