This therapy ball is perfect, it works great. It not to hard and is a larger size so it is easy to hold and roll. I ordered one and as soon as I knew I loved it I ordered a second one for the car when Im on the go. I had a full knee replacement and this is a great therapy ball for massaging the leg. You will be happy with this purchase.

The moment I tried this ball at my chiropractor's office, I was in love. I have never experienced anything so perfect. I told him, the minute I get home, I'm going on Amazon to order this cure-for-my-back problems ball. I did just that & have not been sorry for a moment. I tried using a softball but found it very painful when running over anything but muscles. thus making any real movement to get some massage benefits was nearly impossible. Nothing beats this Alpha ball to be sure because it is somehow firm/hard in the middle, covered with just the right amount of softness so as to prevent pain when digging into muscles, bones, whatever is there. It is really perfect in this way. A feature with this terrific item is that it is not slippery. I put it on my upper back and rubbed where I needed it. Then I moved just a bit to allow the ball to move down a bit & dug into that spot. I continued down my whole back in this way, all the while thinking, wow, I've found what I've needed for many years. This ball did not slip down too far, it somehow holds well where it is, moving just a bit as needed. It's hard for me to describe properly but I hope this makes sense. I wish this ball came with some information on different ways to use it. I'm not in any classes to see how versatile it might be. I'm reading reviews to get other ideas to try or perhaps the website might have more ideas. Add to the benefits of this ball is the exercise my thighs are getting in having to support my position to use the ball effectively. One down-side: the slight rubber smell, which will likely be gone in time. The ball at my chiropractor's office did not smell at all. Being chemically sensitive, rubber is not my favorite thing, however, the smell is quite tolerable & not very strong. It is there, I notice it, but it is not harmful or disturbing to my allergies.

Wow this little small and mighty ball did the trick! I have always used a lacrosse ball for my trigger points but couldn’t get to all areas I needed a bigger ball for. This ball was big enough and firm enough to hit my psoas and iliac crest areas. Finally getting some relief. If you’re hesitant, just get it. It’s so worth it!

This was too firm for my needs but overall good quality. The deal breaker for me was the overwhelming rubber smell. It lingered on my hands, clothes, bedding or anything it touches.

As a Movement Therapist for the past 35+ years, I’m always looking for good tools. I have a crate of myofascial balls. THIS one is the one I’ve been looking for. I could pretty much toss the rest. The softness and give of the ball is amazing. The other balls are way too rough and intense for most people. This one can perturb the area in a safe way that is kind and not damaging, bringing the healing resources to the area that you’re targeting. If you want to progress to a harder, less forgiving ball you can but this is a super way to start. And by no means does that mean it’s for Beginners! My rotator cuff got a little strained and the size of this ball and the squishi-ness was so welcome. The level of grip the rubber has is ideal. It’s PERFECT! As if I was designing EXACTLY what my body desired. I can cover the individual muscles with a more diffused pressure since the ball is bigger than a tennis or lacrosse ball. The smaller harder balls were way too intense. I couldn’t use them. When you don’t do the therapy practice, the therapy practice doesn’t can’t help you. I’m super grateful for my body’s sake and excited to share this with all my clients Thanks for making such a well thought-out tool.

The weight of this ball is ideal for exercising and physical therapy, the quality is excellent with very good value for the money. It's easy to use and ideas can be found online and on Youtube which is great! I like the color which is easy to locate in my basket of hand weights and exercise bands. I know I'll use this often to get fit.

Great for working knots out of my back. It feels like a deep tissue massage.
