OEM quality part
I have been attempting to find a gas cap for my Corolla 2005 and was not able to find one. I stumbled upon this and decided to take a chance and hope that I wasn't deceived again. I was surprised to find that the gas cap was almost OEM. Quality feels good and solid feels like it will last a while. Will definitely purchase again if it ever goes out.

Good fit
I just got this in the mail earlier this week for my car and so far it has done its job in closing up my gas tank. It fits fine and attaching it did not take long at all. I would recommend bending the strap a little bit before installing as it is stiff. For the price, it is not bad thus far.

Defective...maybe wrong size
I could tell after tightening this cap until it clicked that it didn't work because I could easily remove it with little to no effort by pulling up on it from my 2005 Lexus GX 470's gas tank opening. The whole reason I bought this was as a replacement for my OEM gas cap because it claimed to be a fit for a 2005 GX 470. It looked good and I liked that it had a harness but it did not do its primary function of creating a good seal on the gas tank opening.

Fits and Works
Went through a couple gas caps before this one, but check engine light kept coming on with those. This one has the lanyard strap thingy, which attaches easily and works well. Everything fits perfectly. Check engine light has not come on since.

couple yrs ago I had to replace the factory gas cap on my 2008 Tacoma, bought one at autozone but never fit. I tried this one and fits perfectly

fits just like OEM
perfect fit my original 2006 tacoma gas cap pretty much disengrated bought this in a panic. better price than Toyota. came quicker. fits perfect in every way

I like the printed design but it didn’t fit my car
I wanted this product so badly, unfortunately it didn’t fit my car, I have a Toyota Camry but for some reason it didn’t fit. It is a good quality though. I’m in the process of returning it.

Gas cap looks different than shown, does not fit
2006 Toyota Tacoma - description states it will fit my truck. The gas cap I received looks very different, with a bleeder valve, no cord to attach to vehicle & most importantly does not fit my vehicle.Returning.

The hanger Does not hold in the hole.
The plastic threat ( wore) that we can insert in the hole of the tank opener when filling gas, doesn’t hold as the hole is bigger.
