Short summary:The bottom line is - yes, this worked and is still working for my particular case, but don't pick out a supplement based on reviews. Make sure you have a real diagnosis first, especially if your symptoms have been chronic for a while.The Longer Story:Supplements are incredibly hard to buy. You have no idea if something is going to help with your health issue and so, you take the gamble based on reviews and price. I can say definitely that this product has helped me but it may not work for you.In my case, my symptoms prior were almost 10 years of slow, incremental GI distress including indigestion, heartburn, bloating, etc. I was unable to eat anything that was not a vegetable or (some) fruits without symptoms. I ultimately started getting an ulcer.As it turned out, I had h.pylori and didn't know it (Google the term if you are not familiar and it'll blow your mind). My GI doctor threw every treatment at me and when nothing work, he used the "big guns", including an anti-malaria medications. It was 7-10 days of hell with the medications, but I got through it and I no longer have this bacteria in my gut. I can now eat any carbohydrate I want and within reason, most processed foods without misery (though I still avoid them as much as possible).I started taking this product as a way of healing the damage done from years of symptoms and of course, the heavy duty antibiotics to cure the illness. The slippery elm and mastica gum together could alone suffice, but there are additional properties that make this a great way to assist with healing your GI tract.It's been a year and I'm still taking these. I'm almost afraid to come off of them, so I started weaning back to 1 pill a day and all is still well. Depending on your situation, I'd say give it at least a few weeks before you decide if it's working for you. Good luck!

This supplement helps me maintain a healthy gut. It's much cheaper and the same ingredients as what my naturopathic doctor prescribed.

I decided to get off PPI and I was able to with these. They work. If you think they are going to shut down acid production like PPI then you will be disappointed. You are looking for a miracle cure. You still have to be disciplined with regard to your diet. But these are best natural supplement you are going to find to replace PPI. Digestion is more complicated than just food in strong "acid". There are delicate balances of enzymes, biles and duct connections between the liver, pancrease, stomach, bladder and colon. You don't want to stifle the processes, especially if your problems are related to liver damage. That's just my opinion. I recommend this product.

I purchased this supplement after a lot of research and a lot of trial and error. I suffer from acid reflux and gastritis. At its worst, even prescription proton pump inhibitors don't work.This has really helped my stomach issue and I believe it is helping my lower GI as well. A key ingredient is Mastic Gum, which can be very expensive if you buy it alone. It also has the form of Zinc that helps heal the lining of your stomach. The Slippery Elm and Aloe probably are contributing to a GI system that is on the mend from top to bottom.Now is also one of the supplement brands that is more trustworthy, so, if you have acid reflux, gastritis, ulcers, or Leaky Gut then I'd recommend you try this out first. Good value and effective.

Consistent and good quality products.

After taking this product as directed after a week, I went to the ER for major gastric pain. After a GI cocktail from the ER and discontinuing this product, my pains subsided. Not going to take this product ever again.

I have had many gastro problems in the last few years. I have severe chronic GERD, a hernia inside of my stomach and I am recovering from Esophagitis. If i ate something that was to greasy or spicy that created a lot of stomach acid my hernia would hurt decently bad. Famotadine or omeprazole would help but never helped eliminate the pain completely. I was looking for something to help heal and deal with some of the symptoms i was having.Pretty much no bad side affects from gastro comfort. This has helped both my throat and my stomach, It took a few weeks to fully take affect but now i have very little problems with my hernia, and my throat is feeling much better. I rarely experience pain from my hernia even if i do eat something like burgers or pizza. However i do not eat bad food all the time and i still am taking Famotadine in addition to gastro comfort. I take one pill of gastro comfort a day a few hours before dinner, and because it works so well I'm down from 2 Famotadine a day to 1 a day, which i take a 30 min before dinner.

I started on the now discontinued ulcetrol, and while i did not take it as recommended, i noticed that i would feel better when i drank a pill. After i ran out, i came back determined i would drink it as recommended because my pain was so severe and after several doctor visits with no positive outcome. My life was filled with negativity caused by the pain in my stomach, i was grumpy at my spouse for no reason, i was unmotivated and sedentary.Well fast forward about a month of using this magic pill and im BACK! Im back to my old self again. I feel much better all the time. In a better mood, and im able to work out again. My quality of life has taken a 180° turn.
