Quality Match for a great price
I have tried at least 7 different Matcha manufacturers. The one I am currently drinking has been the best so far (well duh!). However, I really like this one too. First of all, your getting 50 grams of ceremonial matcha at a fantastic price, in a glass jar, Outstanding! Comparing the taste of the one I have been drinking to Pure Chimp, I would say the Pure Chimp has a lighter taste yet still has that grassy flavor without any bitterness. When prepared according to the instructions on the jar (1/2 level teaspoon) , the claim is that it tastes like a blend of black tea and green tea, which it does. But that’s not good for me since I don’t like brown or black tea. When I go my measure, (1/2 rounded teaspoon) it seem the black tea taste is gone, weird. Conclusion: 50 grams of ceremonial matcha at this price, it’s a no brainer. For my other matcha I’m paying $36 for 60 grams, so this is a great deal! If this is your first try at drinking matcha, this is a great choice!

I've replaced coffee with matcha due to this brand
Coffee was upsetting my stomach but I still needed caffeine in the morning. After some research, I found that matcha contains l-theanine, which can help with stress and focusing. It can also help with inflammation. I have ADHD, bi-polar, an autoimmune disease, and am all around typically pretty tightly wound and stressed. I've found that I am able to focus better after having a matcha. I've also found that I don't feel jittery and anxious after having a cup, like I would with coffee. I've also had less energy spikes and crashes. If you've ever had a matcha at Starbucks, this is not the same. This has a cleaner, not as sweet taste. There is no bitterness to it, because I believe it is ceremonial grade (after researching.) It blends well and the small container lasts a long time. I've had at least 5 matchas a week for the past 6 weeks and my container isn't empty yet. This is due to you having to use very little to make a cup. The recipe I follow to make my matcha is the following: 1/2 tsp PureChimp Matcha 1/2 tsp water 1 1/2 cups unsweetened vanilla almond milk 1 1/2 TBSP Lankanto Monk Fruit Sweetner I start by following the directions of how to make the matcha paste on the back of the container. I heat my almond milk in the microwave for 2 minutes. I slowly add some almond milk to my matcha paste and mix with my milk frother, making sure I get all of the matcha off the sides of the cup. I then add the rest of my almond milk and add my lankanto monk fruit sweetener. Then I froth. It tastes amazing. I really think this is the perfect matcha powder.

Best Matcha I have found!
This Matcha is perfect, it tastes so fresh and mixed with some almond milk for a matcha latte is perfect for starting the day or with hot water to finish off a night. I have tried several other Matcha's and this taste so much better than all the others I have tried. The price of this Matcha is good too. I think this comes packaged from the UK, and this company does a great job of sourcing high quality Matcha. I would absolutely recommend this PureChimp Matcha Green Tea Powder to anyone who loves great tasting Matcha, you can't go wrong wit this one!

Bottom of ceremonial grade, but great value
I ordered this along with the Naoki Matcha Chiran Harvest Masters Collection Matcha to compare both as "ceremonial grade" matcha. They both claim to be ceremonial grade, but there is a stark difference between the PureChimp one and the Naoki one. The Naoki one has pretty much no bitterness to it and the color is much more vibrant and green. I use the PureChimp one for lattes and smoothies and the Naoki one for tea. If the PureChimp one is ceremonial grade, then it is probably towards the bottom of ceremonial grade in terms of quality. It is closer to culinary grade in my opinion. Definitely a great value though. I would give it a 5 star rating if it was classified as culinary/barista grade. It works great for baking and lattes. I love the product overall and would definitely recommend it because of quality and value. I only gave it a 4 star rating because it is classified as ceremonial grade. The Naoki brand is a lot better if you're looking for high quality ceremonial grade for tea. If you don't mind bitter matcha, then PureChimp is the one for you.

Delicious 🤤
I love Matcha green tea but I am by no means an expert. I was first introduced to Matcha from Starbucks lol. I wanted to start making my own at home. My first Amazon purchase of a Matcha powder was the Jade Leaf Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder - Authentic Japanese Origin - Premium Second Harvest Culinary Grade (1.06 Ounce) priced at $9.95 which is shown in the third image. As you can see it is not as vibrant in color as the Purechimp Matcha which is a ceremonial grade green tea powder. Researching matcha powder the color is a good indicator of the grade quality. So I received the Jade Matcha about a week ago. I tried it and it was very bitter to me. So I did some research and I realize that the Jade Matcha powder is a culinary grade which is the second harvest of the Matcha green tea leaf. In my research I found out that this is usually used for cooking and smoothies as well as drinking in tea form; however people indicated that it can be bitter. The best option is a ceremonial grade Matcha powder from Japan. Ceremonial matcha is harvested during the first harvest of the matcha leaf. I received the Purechimp ceremonial grade matcha today and I must say it was heaven. I can definitely tell the difference between the Jade (culinary grade) and the Purechimp (ceremonial grade). I would recommend this Matcha powder to any beginner to matcha. Love me a matcha latte.

Was unsure when I bought it but it is incredible. Is a lot better than many store bought ones and the quality is 10/10. Appearance wise when in water, it's a darkish green and doesn't taste bitter either in lattes, more so tastes like matcha should. Really good matcha, definitely value for money.
