Bernat Baby Coordinates Yarn, 5 oz, Gauge 3 Light, Baby Pink

I used this yarn to make a baby blanket. This yarn is soft & silky to the touch. It is machine washable and can be dried in a dryer, which is important since the babies I have made these blankets for become very attached to them. The yarn is easy to work with.

I like the crinkle texture of this yarn. It is a little more tedious to use, but the outcome of the project is stunning! I wish I could find it in white. I will most certainly order it, if you ever get any in.

I was happy to have found this yarn! I was in the middle of knitting a project and realized I wouldn’t have enough to finish. Looking in local craft stores, I was unable to find a skein. Thank you Amazon! Delivery timely and in perfect condition.

This yarn is so amazingly light but still keeps you just right warm. My daughter loves the color and my son (who has a blanket just like the one his twin sister has, but it's mint green) absolutely loves the texture that the shiny string in this gives. Pros: Soft to touch. Soft colors. Textured lightly. Cons: Strings aren't wound together tightly, so it's easy to split your thread between needles or the hook. Would I buy it again? Oh yes. Perfect for car blankets or lap blankets.

I really like this yarn, but had several problems with the silver thread woven through to make the "sparkle" effect. It was looser than the pink yarn, so if I had a dollar for every time I had to undo stitches to "unwind" the silver thread from my crochet hook, I would have enough money to go to dinner! The final product is very very nice, but that pesky loose silver thread was an ongoing problem, thus the loss of one star.

Although it was exactly what I was looking for, I would have liked the yarn to be thicker. I bought it to make a plastic canvas snowman picture and combined this light grey yarn with white yarn of the same brand and style to create a snowy effect for the snowman and snow ground cover. As the yarn wasn't very thick, I had to double it throughout the project and with that It worked beautifully!

Crocheted a sweater quickly with this yarn. Came out beautiful & very soft. Great granddaughter put it on when received in the afternoon. Slept in it & refused to wear anything else the next day (she's 2 1/2). Mom had to remove it from her on Sat morning so it could be washed.

Different to my usual soft and fluffy baby wool but nice for warmer days and has a nice sparkle to it. Very happy, delivered on time.

Would not choose to buy this baby yarn again, not as soft as some I have used. Had trouble with the Bernat crochet pattern I was using, I'm sure there was an omission in the pattern and this yarn did rip back well and crochet OK afterwards. Crochets up very nicely, but could do with being softer for a baby!
