A little patience is required to put it together.
I liked the engineering. However I would really like to have one just like it for a dulcimer fretboard up to 2 1/2" wide.

Why a 3?
To start with this is exactly as described and went together very easy. I used a screw driver thinking that a power driver would be over kill as the instruction told me I should use a power driver. The value? my personal opinion is it's over priced and if I hadn't already used it I would return it. I just don't feel as if I got $35 worth of value.I do have to say that cutting the frets on a ukulele neck was quick, easy and accurate

Sorry guys, I’m feeding this one to the fire pit!
CB Getty is a great company, I’ve been happy with everything I’ve ordered from them until now.I think this miter box could have been made better, you have to assemble it which I don’t object to it all but it comes in pieces of miniature plywood that you sandwich and fasten together. Maybe it’s easier to mass-produce them this way, but I think it’s a poor design, I found it to be flimsy and hard to use unless you really Clamp it down thoroughly. To obtain optimum results you need to buy the saw that is compatible with it from CB Gitty. I tried my Stew Mac fretting saw and it was a struggle.I’ve been building cigar-box guitars since 2010 and this, in my opinion, makes cutting fretboard slots much harder than it needs to be.
