Pepperidge Farm Milano Double Dark Chocolate Cookies, 7.5 oz. Bag

Two buttery, rich, delicate wafers with just a hint of sweetness... with a divine, fairly thick layer of chocolate between them. Overall the cookie is about 1/2 inch thick by about 2 inches long. The first bite is light crisp texture, and then it just melts in your mouth. This is the kind of cookie you will want to eat slowly. I've eaten them plain and simple with a glass of milk, I've nibbled on them with tea, and I've dipped them in hot cocoa. Any way you eat them they're mmm mmmmm GOOD! You only get 15 cookies in each bag, but once you've tried them, you won't hesitate to go out and buy them again. Sure, you can buy other brands of cookies for the same price and get double the quantity, but the quality of the Milano will win you over and you won't CARE about the dollars! If anything, it will just make you savor each heavenly little cookie that much more. Amazon Pantry's price of $2.88 is very good, but Walmart (here in RI) is currently selling them for the same price, and you can get them on sale for a little less ($2.50) if you watch the store sale papers. For those who watch their diets carefully, each cookie has about 70 calories, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 4.5 grams sugar.

I HATE that I cannot PUT THE BAG DOWN! Why do they make these things taste so GOOD?!?!?!?!?!!? I need a 12-step program to help me stop eating these! the cookie is perfectly... buttery and crisp...and OMG tasty... and the overlay of Dark Chocolate that melts as it hits the tongue and blends perfectly with the cookie.... wait...wait... Okay I had to go grab another one to satisfy my fix. Where was I?? Simply put... if you have had these before... OMG what are you waiting for, go get another bag! And if you have not.... what are you waiting for???? Go grab a bag!!! If you love dark chocolate and crisp cookies ... you are in for a treat! If you prefer milk chocolate... why why .... ???? sorry... I mean... This cookie will not be for you milk chocolate peeps. This is rich Dark Chocolate-LOVE & Heaven in one sweet blissful crunch! And seriously... never mind the 12-step program... i am going to order another bag of Milano!!!!!

Pepperidge Farm Milano Cookies, Double Chocolate, 7.5 Oz These are good cookies...they bring back memories of my childhood. My Daddy always purchased them and we enjoyed them a lot. These are a buttery almost shortbread type cookie. The cookies have just he right amount of crunch and texture and are a delight to eat. The filling is a rich almost dark chocolate filing, and you can definitely taste the chocolate with each bite. I think I would enjoy a chocolate that is more like milk chocolate than dark chocolate, but other than that they are delicious. They are great for a luncheon or a late night treat. There are about 15 cookies in the package, and you only need a few at the time, because they are pretty rich in flavor. I enjoyed them and will definitely purchase again, but not sure if I will purchase the double chocolate, especially if a regular milk chocolate edition is available. All and all a good cookie.

Rich, decadent, thick and full of chocolate between the absolute best sugar cookies ever. The chocolate Pepperidge Farm uses isn't actually my favorite, it's a tiny bit too dark for my taste, but the genius here is the two perfect cookies. They are just sweet enough to make everything work in harmony. There are only 15 cookies in each bag, which seems like a small amount for the price at first glance. However, these are so rich that I can rarely eat more than three in a single day. I regard the original Milanos as a delicious, small gift at the end of a particularly hard day rather than a daily snack. The double chocolate version is definitely a reward.

As for the Cookie itself it gets a 5. As far as getting it shipped. It gets a 3. No matter who you order it from. They are going to come broken. Crumbs all inside. The cookie is one of the best. One of my favorites. A GO TO Cookie when i'm craving a cookie. Its just such a hassle that because its being shipped, they are tossed around badly inside of the package and i have NEVER had a unbroken cookie(s). This is probably their best selling cookie. I mean, you say Milano and everyone knows what it is...more than Alyssa Milano(charmed or who's the boss). Double Chocolate. They have other versions. Mint and Orango chocolate. Great Product, Works as advertised, definitely They are quite good, and also pretty tasty just eating dry and right out of the box! Tasty snack, or yummy breakfast! It's prob not the most healthy thing you can be eating in the mornings, but there's certainly worse things to shovel into your mouth too. That is what I was expecting. Just as yummy as I remember, and my kids love it too. The price was great, expiration is quite a ways out, so no worries there. Boxes were packaged well. Great buy all the way around :-) Fresh products. Very satisfied. I recommend Amazon Pantry. Shipping box is very durable. All goods were neatly packaged and arrived safely and undamaged.
