DO NOT BUY this VW center cap. It doesn’t even deserve one star. I ordered it to replace one that was stolen from the front driver’s side of our VW Passat. I put in the cap a few days after it arrived, and the first thing I noticed was that it was loose and didn’t snap in to fit properly. Since this cap was $26, I was disappointed, but then it rained last night, and today I noticed the silver VW sticker on the cap had fallen off and was nowhere to be seen. The loose cap is still in the wheel, but now the center of the wheel is all black. The supplier of this VW center cap is definitely producing a defective product and Amazon should discontinue doing business with them.

I couldn't find OEM center caps for my 2018 VW Passat for under $40 each. I was surprised to find them with OEM packaging on Amazon for $18 plus change. They snap in perfectly. A drawback, though: the surface of one cap is slightly warped in one corner. One doesn't know that it's slightly defective unless you know to look for it.

Pay attention to what seller you’re ordering from! Had to order twice to get a good one. My first order was from seller “esluxe” and that wheel cap did not fit correctly, it was extremely loose and spun around very easily. It likely would have popped out once I got on the highway. It was made in Italy, so perhaps not an original part. My second order was from seller “World Volkswagen” and that one was made in Germany and fit perfectly. Both wheel caps looked exactly the same, but the prongs that hold it in were different. So if you get a bad one, try ordering again.

Zero stars! Be aware cheap product!! Ad shows 4 center caps, but you only get one! The Ad says refunds excepted but no refunds are allowed and Amazon wont help!! Waste of time and money!!
