Informative, easy setup, quality product with safety in mind
I purchased this for a server room that has a lack of ventilation.. after only a few hours the sensors had calibrated and the app was already showing high levels of Co2.. which explains the headaches when a prolonged period of time was spent in this room without the doors open. I have to say this product is really well thought out, I love the app and the company outreach by email after registration that is just a warm and professional peace of quality contact to ensure you that the product is calibrating its sensors to give Radon readings. I can't sing its praises enough, an excellent product, really well deployed by the manufacturer and at a reasonable price for such an important item of safety equipment. As a result, this has highlighted for us the need to ventilation, and we have opted for an MVHR system, that will greatly improve air quality in the business. We are really pleased with this product and intend to buy another for a different location.Well done Airthings!

Its nice, but View Plus is a much better product
Its nice, but View Plus is a much better product... I bought this one originally and then I saw how effective air quality control is, so got serious about it and ended up buying View Plus which is similar only it has more meters and I found it to be a little bit more accurate and sensitive. But nothing major. They are both accurate, cause I have additional Tempratue, Humidity and CO2 monitors and they all agree... there is sometimes minor difference which gets corrected overtime... but if you 'average out' over 1 month, they will all show the same... so good buy... but if you have money go for View Plus

Good, but not smooth connectivity with th Airthings Hub
Good, but SmartLink connectivity with the View Plus hub is not stable.

Radon gas tester that’s essential
Everyone needs to know about this gas and test regularly . And especially if buying a new house.

Works fine
Checked with other radon reader and got the same results. All OK

rubbish
Rubbish. I was suspicious with its measurements so put 2 devices close to each other, even the temperature measurements are 2 degrees different always! Radon is 50bqm different and when one shows it’s going up, other one shows it’s going down… They are totally random. I’ve 2 dysons in the same room and they show exactly the same values always, including the temperature - which the airthings never seem to get right at anytime. Avoid!

Works with Home Assistant
Working great with Home assistant and giving a lot of detail data. Bought it especially for Radon but also CO2 is a great addition.Had to change the batteries after 1 year, so great battery life.

Useful for radon and volatile organic pollution - needs more features
This device measures several things that I didn’t think I needed to worry about, so it’s not for the paranoid! If you are in an area subject to radon gas, as I understand some areas on ancient rocks are, this is probably a really good investment. You need to read the instructions and let it “settle” for a week before fretting about the readings. Don’t worry if it’s all red in the first few days – mine are all green now. See the picture of 4 weeks of radon history – the red in week one was the settling in period, to be ignored. If you walk past it the green light comes on if all is well. Otherwise, you need to connect to the app with Bluetooth on your phone to find out the details of what goes on. If you haven’t been near it for a while with your phone it needs a couple of minutes to sync the data then you can look through the screens:RadonTVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) – sounds unhealthy!CO2 – an indication of stale indoor air (but I have a CO2 alarm for real safety problems)HumidityTemperatureAir pressureAt this high price I was disappointed that it doesn’t measure fine dust particles – minus one star for this. That would have been useful for me doing a lot of woodwork in the basement. Also, I would have much preferred a wifi connection as the Bluetooth doesn’t work through our solid walls (that’s down to Bluetooth, not the device), so I need to be in the same room to get up to date data – minus another star for this.
