UPDATE: Looks nice - but doesn't seem to work
I wouldn't recommend this Galileo Thermometer. I had a similar one from years ago, that was much larger and the glass bulbs inside would actually change according to varying temperatures. I wanted a smaller version for my desk, and so I purchased this Lily's thermometer.I live in New England where temperatures can vary between 5 degrees to 65 degrees within 6 hours. Even my house thermostat fluctuates between a daytime and nighttime temperature reading.This thermometer's bulbs have not moved at all in the few months I have owned it. It just occurred to me though, that they cannot move because the glass tube appears to be too narrow for the bulbs to slide past one another. That being said, even the lower bulbs never drop to the bottom. It might have happened once since I have owned it, but I was probably at work. I am not about to scientifically study what the bulbs should be doing at this point in my life.UPDATE: This thermometer now seems to work. The bulbs are moving around some, so i have updated my review. Love the look of this, and nice quality too.
