Great stand light! A friend lent me this light to use and it was great so I bought one for myself. Full width light, easy to clip on the music stand and I really like the short lip on the audience side that help shield the light from the other side. Three brightness settings make this plenty bright. Highly recommended! Note: it comes with a USB cord to recharge the light, so you will need a USB-AC adapter if you want to charge it in a wall outlet.

This is a great light. It is super bright on high and regularly bright on medium. The 3 colors make it very versatile. I am a musician and I have a bone yard of lights that were not bright enough to play in a stage black out (which happens frequently). This one does. The battery recharge holds for a long time. I played for 3 hours and it only took a short recharge on the light.

I'm very pleased with my purchase of this LED Lamp. The 3 brightness choices are well done: on dimmest it gently illuminates my keyboard without being an eyeball Irritant. On full bright a great reading lamp and young eyes could probably get away with medium bright. Default color temperature is very pleasing, 4200K with all the LED's on. My eyes see a nice rosy cast to it, where competitor lights often have ghoulish green cast to them, reminiscent of cheap LED's and compact fluorescents: note one can change the color temp with a long button press and cycle through the 3 available choices from 3000K, 4200K, and daylight 6000K this way. Even at 6000K I still find it pleasing and natural looking. The integrated base/clamp is a great feature: very strong spring and the inside surfaces have a non-slip texture adhered to them. What I've found even better is that the gooseneck base is weighted enough to hold the lamp upright provided the light is reasonable centered over the base. This means I can just set it down on a flat surface when a clamping point isn't available. An upgrade would be to add more weight to the base to allow greater gooseneck mobility and light positioning. Battery life: I ran a test at full bright, 4200K (all LED's are on for 4200K) after fully charging it: 6hrs and still going so I'm buying the 60hr claim on the dim setting. Very usable with this battery life. A full charge only took a few hours. I have no way to measure this, but since its a single Li-ion battery that must be Boosting to drive the long LED string, it is likely constant brightness throughout the battery discharge.

Works well, but rechargeable battery life is fairly limited (only a few hrs) on highest intensity... BUT Medium intensity seems quite adequate and rechargeable battery life is MUCH longer (many hrs) when used on medium intensity. On High intensity you will be doing a lot more recharging so I recommend using this lighte on Medium intensity which seems adequate and I only need to recharge 1-2X/month. Recharging is not difficult but takes time, attention and monitoring and light may be out of service when you need it or while recharging (you can press a button to view remaining battery charge). It's a good product that I use daily and is much more convenient with less frequent required charging when used on Medium intensity... I would recommend and repurchase.

As an instrumentalist, this is perfect for my music stand. (NOTE: It will not easily work with a fold-up style stand, but will work with an adjustable Manhesset stand.) As a music leader of a choir, it works GREAT at illuminating the music without glaring in the eyes of those I am directing. The light has two brightness levels: Low and High. In all situations thus far (4 occasions in 1 week), I have found the need for the High setting, rather than the Low. I was very concerned about blinding the eyes of people in the congregation, but my husband checked it out from multiple seats in the chapel. After the opening hymn, he stated it works great for the congregation, but it still shines in the eyes of people behind me if I move too far from the music stand. For the second hymn, I slightly lowered the adjustable "head" of the light, and the report was that it was better. If the manufacturer were to make an improvement, I would only suggest that the lights be retracted slightly inside the "hood". My husband thought that its material (plastic) would break too easily. Not so. The unit is solid. I have dropped only once (on carpet), and it didn't affect the unit. Another possible suggestion would be to provide a protective carrying case to safely store it in a music bag or case, however, I found it transported easly and safely inside an oversided purse that I I use for my music, baton, and other items. I rate this item 5 out of 5 stars!

What a great portable light for a musician. It gives off a ton of light, has 3 light settings, and is rechargeable. No need to worry about batteries going dead on a gig.

The lighting in the choir loft at the church where I play the organ is best described as “early 20th century”. Summer services during daylight hours are fine, but after dark the single spotlight behind the organist casts a shadow across the music stand. This light fits the music stand perfectly, without interfering with the music - single sheet or book style, whilst the colour and light intensity options will fit most if not all requirements. I personally like the height of the light in use, this clears even the largest of my sheet music scores whilst giving clear illumination across the pages below. The head is also flexible enough to ensure that the light shines only on the music, and not into my eyes. The rechargeable battery lasts well, even on full intensity/dual colour (the highest power use setting). It still had 50% charge remaining after almost 2 hours continuous use during a recent Christmas carol service, but it is easy to turn on and off so you could get multiple service/event uses from each charge - and when it needs to be recharged the supplied cable just uses any USB socket and takes around an hour in my experience. Finally, it rolls/folds up quite small for transportation, but easily folds back out the full length for use on the stand. Great bit of kit, not the cheapest but it is a quality item that should last a good few years of frequent weekly use.

Tiene 3 intensidades de luz, sin pilas ni cables. Cada 3 días lo pongo a cargar cuando veo que la luz se debilita. Me va genial para leer partituras, antes tenía otra que no iluminaba tanto y era muy molesto. No sé cómo los músicos de orquesta pueden leer con las luces chungas que les ponen en el atril.
