I've had some issues with other batteries in the D500, due to its extra power requirements. In the past, I have had batteries stop working correctly, particularly in cold temperatures, resulting in the mirror getting into weird positions and shutter not working properly. This battery claims to be the newer version that does not have that issue, and on initial testing, I am pretty confident that I agree. I stored the battery in the refrigerator for several days to really push it to the limit, and then tested in D500 on rapid continuous shooting, and the camera never had any issues firing properly. So I think these are a good bet.

I've been using them in rotation with the Nikon battery that came with my Z6. I can't say I notice that the Nikon battery lasts much, if any longer at all. EN-El batteries don't last nearly as long as say my D4 batteries so on all day shoots, I'm changing them at least once regardless of whether it's OEM or a third party battery. I haven't had them long enough to know their lifespan, but at 2 of the BM batteries for less than one Nikon, I know I made the right choice.

Bought these on a whim to try them out since one of my batteries had decided to die on me so I was down to one operating battery for my D750. Actually started out with these in a rented D850 first, then have used them in my D750 without any issues. Seems like a good purchase so far, will tell over time if these will hold up like a Nikon original battery.

Bought these for my Z 6 since the older 15a batteries started depleting very fast in it. Clearly the new 15b type of batteries are built differently to last longer. Original Nikon 15b battery in Z 6 goes upto 800 shots easily in my test and BM premium one goes till 600. It also charges IN-CAMERA unlike older 15a batteries. Remember the battery has just gone through 3 recharge cycles, I am expecting close to 800 shots from one charge once it has reached its maximum potential in about 10 cycles. Worth every penny!

Great battery for my Nikon D610

I have a Nikon Z7ii and for a recent trip I needed battery back up when out shooting. Yhe main Nikon battery can be recharged in camers via the USB=C port but that is no good when on the road. I bought these as backups in case the Nikon was drained whilst on the road. Worked perfectly. No issues with them not being Nikon branded

I have purchased these batteries before. When I came on this trip and forgot to bring extra batteries, I did not hesitate to buy these again.

Product fits well and works fine inside. Has trouble below freezing when shooting in continuous mode. Simply can’t supply enough power and camera quits.
