Ordered for rod holder drain. The listed measurement is the inside dimension. I ordered 3/8 for a 1/2” thru hull and it wouldnt fit. But i used a heat gun to heat it up and snug it over the 1/2”. If you get the 1/2” it would probably work better.

Clear and durable vinyl tube. Bought this to connect to my Suburban power steering to flush and replace power steering fluid. 3/8in inner diameter was a perfect fit to the power steering unit fittings. The clear tube allowed me to monitor the fluid change from old dirty fluid to new clearer fluid. 10ft length was more than sufficient for the task. Cleaned out tube with alcohol and expect this tube will be ready for fluid transfer whenever needed again.

I actually bought this to repair a good sturdy guitar stand that I like. The original foam had disintegrated, and I didn't want to set my bass on the bare metal bars. This tubing fit snugly over the metal bars, and is slightly grippy so my bass doesn't slide around. There's enough tubing to probably fix 4 stands in total.

used for submersible pump to empty above ground pool for winter. worked like a charm, held its form very well without crimping. I have used it several times (after every rain storm) without any issues. don't see having to buy another one anytime soon, but if I lose it or ruin it somehow, I will definitely order the same one again. Will be buying a smaller gage one later for a outdoor fountain pump.

I used this tubing to extend the drain for my front fuel filter on my diesel and it has held up and worked well. No degrading at all. Nice product.

Used with pump for water in camper van. Some one said the hose was so stiff he had to use a heat gun on it. I think he likes to use his tools. To take the curl out of the hose we tied one end at the top of the stairs and I used a work boot on the other end. In the morning it was straight.

Very sturdy tubing. As advertised.It was easy to straighten out.

Used this tubing for a watercooling loop. Works great! 3/8 ID and 1/2 OD. A little hard to play with (no really flexible) but no kink at all which is very good. Could not entirely tight the compression fitting but enough to make good compression. No leak so far!
