iFixit should do better
The first screen I received had the pins for the touch button stuck under a plate and could not be used. I got a replacement and it was good. Installed it and it has been working properly. I was really disappointed with iFixit for the first screen, for a product that is 2-3 times as expensive as the competition, their QC should not have let that screen come out of the factory. Secondly, I think they should offer the option to buy the parts without the fixing kit. It honestly feels like an upsell to me. The tools are great, but not everyone needs a new set of tools. One big part about repairing with iFixit is being sustainable, and if tools are being sent out just to end up in a pile, that does not seem sustainable. Also, the tools package was larger than the part package itself! So shipping resources are wasted too. Allow for customers to buy parts only on Amazon too.I like iFixit and support them, the Right to Repair and all. So because they are setting an example, I believe they can be better.

Could have just bought a "generic" one at 1/3 the price
I've replaced screens on iPhones a few times before, and seen various levels of quality. This time I thought I'd get a better chance of close to OEM quality buying from iFixit and paying 3x the cost of most "generic" replacements. This iFixit screen works, is better than many generic replacements but like most "generics" it has a bluish hue, the colors aren't very vibrant and the digitizer ("touch") is not as responsive. I like the idea of a company like iFixit sourcing truly consistent parts - even at a premium price - but 3x the price? No.

iFixit to the rescue
I'm always impressed with the quality of iFixit products. The only challenge I had with this was peeling the protector from the double-sided tape meant to help secure the screen in place. The edges are so thin that it was hard to pull the paper up without also pulling up the tape. Other than that, it was a pretty straightforward fix.

Best screens out there!
I used to buy replacement screens for my iPhone from other sellers. Usually as cheap as I could get however those were of poor quality. Then I began buying the mid tier price and those were hit or miss so I finally gave in and bought from iFix it and they have not failed me yet. They are just as good as OEM. Worth the price for sure!

Highest Quality Parts !
I agree with the high quality comments by others; They are the highest quality screens and parts. If you are attempting a repair, quality and reliability of parts makes a big difference. You pay a bit more than others, but it’s worth It to avoid re-work.

OK kit but Not worth the $75
I liked how well packaged. On line video instructions great. What I didn’t like. Paying $75 for a screen with defect in lower right area. I see previous commenter had same issue.

Defective screen received
It looked great at first, but after carefully examining the screen, I found a discolored spot on the lower right, which is also sensitive to the home button. For the premium price paid (probably the most expensive among all replacements available on Amazon), I expect premium quality (or one may just buy a used phone of good quality). Another problem that I have with it is that you need to find the guide on iFixit yourself. There is no instruction in the package. It requires carefulness, or you may do more harm than good replacing the screen.
