We have always used the thermal printer rolls that come with a tab of paper tape keeping the roll from loosening while being stored. These rolls use a mild adhesive that keeps the roll closed, but is not sticky to touch. No jagged edge to cut off, so no wasted paper. They are very quick to open, so quick to change out, when you have a customer waiting for a receipt.

At 300 dpi, photos look great as long as you don't look too closely ... Other brands print grey, so this is totally acceptable, even though the thinner paper causes slight blotchiness in solid black areas, still looks okay

Gets the job done, if you want better quality you gotta spend more money. This is just an average quality product.

Lately I have had trouble getting the correct size. The description is correct but what I receive is too small. These are the actual size, the paper is of good quality and it allows fine printing. It is a win in my book!
