French Cooking at Home Hardcover – September 4, 2018

This is a lovely coffee table book and solid French recipes with diagrams and pictures. The only downside is it's over sized, so in a small kitchen takes up a bit too much room when cooking.But it's nice because French recipes to me are a bit more complex then an every day dish, so I appreciate the details. Would be a great gift for a foodie or a cook! I kept it for the sheer number of classics and the step by step instruction of each dish.

Excellent book for those interested in culinary school but don’t want to deal with classroom settings. Excellent processes and images to show you how to do things similar to a Chef. Highly recommended to help improve your culinary skills.

I own dozens of French cookbooks, some in French. This is probably one of the most incredible, artistic, and amazing French cookbooks I’ve seen. The recipes are advanced and exciting, the food photography is artistic and beautiful, and the illustrations are fun and creative. These pages should be framed they are so beautiful.

This is one of the most beautiful cookbooks I’ve ever purchased. Written beautifully with great illustrations and step-by-step directions. Recipes are intricate and complex. Would recommend this book to everyone

No French cookbook will ever be simple. But this book makes it as simplistic as possible. Visually striking, and clearly written it’s a very nice addition to any home cooks recipe shelf.Not exactly a book for beginners but if you’re adventurous then you’d enjoy the read and the challenge.

I should maybe not be too judgmental but this is for folks who know precious little. If you’re an inexperienced cook, this will probably help you, but if you’re looking to expand your knowledge it’s not this book.

This book is filled with wonderful information about how to prepare the dish as well as why you should prepare it the way the book tells you to. The photos are a great referral and confidence booster.

A very useful and easy to follow cookbook. Beautiful photos and illustrations with simple straight forward instructions without fluff. A bit hefty for your kitchen top though. Love it.

Beautiful book. It is well laid out, very informative and excellent for anyone who just wants to educate themselves about different french breads, etc, and is an excellent guide to baking.
