White Cat Corn Gourmet Good Popcorn Popping Corn Kernels, Light and Fluffy for Movie Theater Popcorn Every Time 27 ounces (Popcorn Party Sea Salt)

This may be "the one" e.g. am working my way through every brand of unpopped popcorn Amazon carries. None of them have been "bad" per se, but when I read that the Washington Post and another paper had rated White Cat "the best" I had to order.I pop corn all the same way - preferably in high smoke point peanut oil in Ikea's Oumbarlig 5 quart stockpot; butter/margarine and Hill's tasty white cheddar powder (I don't know what the mania is for "tasting like the movies" as theater popcorn I've had often sits in my stomach like a bowling ball and isn't all that) - but ANYWAY -Differences in popcorn may be subtle but OMG - I tasted freshness, and subtle hints of sweet corn with White Cat. If I ate my popcorn plain, this would be the brand. At least the first jar of this I got. Big fluffy pops w. few unpopped kernels that were crispy-tender. SO GOOD. Even with the high ship cost, I put in a second order, but I don't fault the seller as it was well-packed and shipping costs HAVE gone up. I just need to find a local source for this (some place; maybe I should just drive to the factory LOL) because I blew through the whole jar so fast. I'd rather pay a bit more and enjoy a popcorn this delicious. Plan to keep on with my "survey" - I need to try Snappy brand next - but I plan to have White Cat on hand anyway as long as it's this quality. Best I have tried so far!

Light, fluffy, delicious when popped with a tiny bit of salt and no oil in my microwave.I use the PowerLix Microwave Popcorn Popper, set the microwave on highest setting for 10 minutes, listen for the popping to die down; and remove the unit from the microwave.Usually ten or less unpopped kernels, and no burning ever.A great combination.Robert C. Love this popcorn. Use it in a microwave popcorn popper that I purchased on QVC, it pops extremely well, big, white fluffy pieces of popcorn without many unpopped kernels. I do think you need a higher wattage microwave, as it works very well in mine, but not as well in my sister's, who has a lower wattage microwave. I have bought this several times and it is worth the $$. If you like good popcorn, check it out.

I ordered this product mid afternoon on a Wednesday and by Thursday I had it delivered in my mailbox by 1 o’clock in the afternoon. Now that’s fast service. I popped the corn for the first time yesterday and I’m delighted with the quality. I have not eaten any popcorn for almost a year so it’s hard to compare it to anything I’ve had in the past but I was not disappointed at all. The holes are indeed smaller than I remember on any other popcorn and the kernels were fluffy and firm.

Best popcorn I ever ate. Found it first at Whole Foods, then saw it on Amazon. I pop the corn in a brown paper bag in the microwave. 1/3 c of kernels, 1 tbs of peanut oil, plenty of salt.. Pop for 2-3 min. Listen carefully so you know when to remove.

Arrived on date promised, packed well. Followed instructions for popping and while it had a good taste, the kernels were small and there were a lot of 'widows' left over. There are other popcorns I have purchased that I think are better, I would not purchase this brand again.

I love this popcorn. Once I tasted this popcorn, it's all I buy. It's great tasting and "fluffy". I use it in the Whirley Pop popcorn maker which I love too.

I bought this and tried it for the first time. I was very disappointed in the finished quality of the popped corn. It was tough and not very tasty at all. I will say that every single kernel popped, but if it doesn't taste good, who cares. I won't waste my money on this again.
