Review: Best soft holster you can get for a hook and loop setup! - I don’t know what to say other than I have purchased four of these so obviously they are up to my ultra-high standard. If you run a waste pack, backpack, or any other bag with hook and loop on the inside, these are the absolute best soft holster you can get. Obviously, some people prefer to run a kite holster with a hook and loop holster retention device, but I find that to be overly bulky and unneeded for most setups. Like I said, I have four of the MPH full-size, and two of the MPH Sub. VertX knocks it out of the park on everything they make, so if you’re on the fence, I recommend ordering it and trying it for yourself. Review: Bad Reviews Must Be User Error - Perfect for CCW Purses - I needed a hook-and-loop holster for my VP9 with a TLR8 A/G, and the bad reviews had me a little concerned. It took a few tries, but I was able to get the holster set up just right. Retention is entirely up to the user; if it's too tight, just wrap the underside a bit looser. If your sights snag, use the grip roll to cover the open port (that's where it'll snag), or wrap one of the wings around the front of the gun barrel to cover it, which is what I did. Additionally, the grip roll can be used to add some rigidity and protection around the trigger guard. It can be fiddly, but once it's set up right, and you get the ejection port retention bit lined up so you always get good indexing and retention, you never have to mess it with again. But you totally can, to reverse the hook-and-loop or draw side, which is fabulous. If you set it up right, you can even run a belt through it or DIY yourself an IWB clip, especially if you use a punch to make sure it doesn't go anywhere. I genuinely do not understand the issues people have reported having unless they were trying to cram a USP into the compact holster, or of a mental capacity that raises questions to their ability to safely and responsibly carry a firearm, or maybe it just works exceedingly well with the VP9 because of the slide geometry, but it does what I need it to do perfectly and would work well beyond that, too. A larger double-sided hook patch would have been nice, but you can get those for next to nothing. Additionally, I'd love a rigid tactigami-compatible panel to insert into other bags or purses, along with tactigami options built for a wider variety of everyday items. ## Features - TACTIGAMI MODULARITY: Built from VELCRO Brand ONE‑WRAP the Tactigami MPH Full lets you trim and orient the holster for exact placement and hold. - CUSTOM FIT HOLD: The holster's Velcro wrap conforms around most full size handguns including lights or lasers for secure retention with TPR support. - DURABLE REUSABLE CONSTRUCTION: High strength hook backed materials resist fraying and reuse again and again making this a dependable tactical gear accessory. - AMBIDEXTROUS QUICK DRAW: Offset roll and reversible layout enable right or left handed carry and fast consistent presentation when you need it. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00IJBFENU | | Best Sellers Rank | #15,566 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #73 in Tactical Pouches | | Brand | Vertx | | Brand Name | Vertx | | Closure Type | velcro | | Color | Desert Tan | | Customer Reviews | 4.0 out of 5 stars 867 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00720327685802 | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | F1 VTX5100-TN-One Size | | Item Type Name | Bag | | Item Weight | 4.54 g | | Manufacturer | Vertx | | Manufacturer Part Number | F1 VTX5100-TN-One Size | | Material | Nylon | | Material Type | Nylon | | Model Number | F1 VTX5100 | | Number of Compartments | 1 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | UPC | 720327685802 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Limited Warranty | ## Product Details - **Color:** Desert Tan - **Brand:** Vertx - **Material:** Nylon - **Item Weight:** 0.01 Pounds - **Closure Type:** Hook and Loop ## Images ![Vertx Tactigami Tactical Accessories Gear Organizers - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81v63bxTVTL.jpg) ![Vertx Tactigami Tactical Accessories Gear Organizers - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Gmf-S7I+L.jpg) ![Vertx Tactigami Tactical Accessories Gear Organizers - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51bDQImq13L.jpg) ![Vertx Tactigami Tactical Accessories Gear Organizers - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51cGpuMpWQL.jpg) ![Vertx Tactigami Tactical Accessories Gear Organizers - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51Q6bwad1kL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: How well do the holsters hold the pistols?** A: Pretty good retention built into the velcro holsters. There’s a small plastic “retention” piece included with each holster to allow for retention, preventing the firearm from falling out of the holster. **Q: Is there a way one can make this fit a revolver?** A: Yes **Q: Since the G30 is a double stack .45 would the full size work best or the subcompact work best?** A: Since the G30 is wider than the G19/17 models and the slide is just short of being as long as a G19, I would go with the the full size MPH. I think the G30 will be to wide and to long for a MPH sub. **Q: Will the full size work for a Glock 26?** A: Yes ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best soft holster you can get for a hook and loop setup! *by M***. on July 8, 2026* I don’t know what to say other than I have purchased four of these so obviously they are up to my ultra-high standard. 'No Bueno.' I guess it does just enough to not be a total waste, but the edges keep rolling to the inside which is not ideal. I also had to trim and adjust to get it to fit a weapon that it says it should work with. The weapon has an optic mounted, so I guess that's part of the issue on my end, but still had to 'customize' it more than estimated. It's an Ok interim fix until I get something better. I got this to go inside an Eberlestock Bando bag and so far, ...not super impressed with either the bag or this holster 'organizer.' ## Frequently Bought Together - Vertx Tactigami Tactical Accessories Gear Organizers - Eberlestock Bando Bag - Tactical Men's Fanny Pack w/Adjustable Waist Belt, Zippered Pockets, Compact Lightweight Belt Bag - Vertx Everyday Fanny Pack 2.0, CCW Tactical Concealed Carry Waist Bag for Men and Women, Travel, Work, Outdoor, EDC Gear --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/9982438-vertx-tactigami-tactical-accessories-gear-organizers](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/9982438-vertx-tactigami-tactical-accessories-gear-organizers) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
