Large Chalkboard Roll Thick Magnetic Receptive Blackboard for Wall, Non-Adhesive Backing Removable (Roll - 36" x 787.4" - 3' x 66')

This is a pice of thick plastic with a decent magnetic attraction. As other reviews state, I found the double sided tape included doesn’t adhere well. I used a spray adhesive and it’s worked well. I purchased this and a set of magnets to use as a board to display pictures of our various family trips. It’s working well.

Well, this was a huge disappointment.First, the instructions were not as clear as they could of been.Second, everything felt like it was made for a child. The chalk, the magnets. I just don't get it.Third, it would not stay on the wall, kept falling down.Fourth, magnets would not stick to with any strength.The customer support was excellent. They sent me more magnets and did all they could to help.Overall, this was a huge waste of my time.

I wasn't sure which side to attach to wall. It's not easy to clean on rough side. I am going to try the other side. Good value though.

I wanted to cover my fireplace to keep my toddlers out of it, so I bought a thin piece of plywood and covered it with this magnetic roll. Here’s what I discovered in the process:1. Size: The product was not exactly the size promised, it was a little smaller (47 1/2”). I used chalkboard paint for the edges of the board to cover that.2. Adhesive: Since this is not a product with an adhesive back, I bought adhesive glue not knowing that it came with double sided tape. I ended up using both. I would not use the glue again, I’d have bought the spray. It came with tape and plastic nail pieces.3. Product itself: While there were some “wallpaper bubbles” I’ve worked hard to get out (it cones rolled up in a tube and is the consistency of 1/4” rollable course plastic like the old fashioned Tupperware mat for rolling out pie dough and cookies) it worked! The top end need trimming, it was a little longer, but we easily cut through it with a utility knife.4. Chalk and magnets: it works just fine as a chalkboard and magnets hold to it.I’d attach it differently next time, but I’m very pleased with the product itself.

When I got the chalkboard, I unrolled it and let it lay flat on a table for over 24 hours. I even put some heavy objects on the ends to make sure it didn't curl. I then cleaned the wall of dust, used the entire roll of adhesive strips and hung up the chalkboard. There was mention of some included tacks or nails but nothing like that came in my package.Chalk board stayed on the wall for roughly 8 hours. Then in the middle of the night I heard it fall off the wall. When it fell, it folded over on itself and the adhesive strips stuck to the opposite sides. When I tried to separate the sides the chalk board ripped. So I had to return it.Additionally, like mentioned in other reviews, the magnetic strength of the board is minimal.I did get a replacement and this time I bought a 2x4 sheet of metal from Lowes as a backing. I used spray adhesive to glue the chalkboard to the metal sheet and hung with screws and mollies. Chalkboard works great now and a good magnet REALLY holds firm.I gave this 3 stars because the supplied adhesive strips where so bad that it was almost useless.

Will not stay up with the adhesion provided. Pretty heavy, but I planned to frame it in with casing anyway, and it turned out great like that.

It is not durable as you would think from the thickness and weight of the product. The actual chalk surface is a thin vinyl glued to another surface They separated in areas while we were mounting them. Also if you are not very careful in lifting pieces to put adhesive under it it will wrinkle or crease a permanent wrinkle or crease on your drawing surface. You will NOT be able to smooth out. Think of it like trying to keep wrinkles out of aluminum foil. So I would not buy anymore, nor recommend, for the price. Not worth it We didn't return because we cut it in half to fit in two areas, so live and learn. Beware to handle genitally. We ended up removing it and it is back in the package collecting dust

Well, I got what I ordered. Unfortunately I didn't read reviews thorough enough or the size. Every photo shows that this is huge, and then it's quite small. In addition, for $30, I would never buy something that is 2'x3', especially a thin rolled up thing to stick to a wall.It is a chalkboard, and it is magnetic, so once I go buy some double sided tape I'll be able to put it up. I also expected it to come with its own adhesive, and it doesn't.It comes with the "board", 2 chalks, magnets, hangers, and some clear sticky things. I think these are supposed to stick it to the wall but then you can see them. They aren't double sticky, just on one side.Lastly, the instructions are poor. I would never buy this again and am bummed with what just showed up at my house.

Bought this to use for putting up pictures/kids artwork, and for the kids to draw on. The magnetic surface is not very magnetic at all. Need very strong magnets and even those barely hold a thin piece of paper. Kids colored on them with chalks and it is next to impossible to wash off. Would not recommend this product, especially for the cost.
