Excellent product as always!
It arrived when it was supposed to and it is very easy to open and place the filter in it. Plus, it was easy to place onto my sink facuet. It comes with 4-5 different parts (I only used one part) to help connect it to my sink. It works well. Connecting was easy as pie. The material is lightweight and pretty. Very durable.

It was as advertised easy to install and worth the cost
This was easy to install I had one prior it was old and needed to be replaced. The pressure of the water was not affected so, it works perfectly and it holds in place and filters your water. It fits the standard size kitchen faucet so that was good in which I have. I would definitely order it again. It's worth the money to me.

Good value, easy installation and much improved water taste!
Extremely please so far! Instructions were clear and easy to follow; installation was extremely fast and straightforward (under 2 minutes!) Reasonable price. While I can't make any quantifiable comments about water quality, I will say that the smell and taste is markedly improved from our previously unfiltered tap water. Looks good mounted to our faucet, doesn't take up too much space.

It's performance seems very good, as it is easy to notice an improved ...
I have owned PUR faucet-mounted water filters for at least 5 years, possibly more. The latest model, which I recently purchased through Amazon, is the nicest of the three different units I have owned. It is convenient to use due to its easy-to-dismount feature. This allows the filter unit itself to be quickly disengaged from the faucet, making filter changes a snap and getting the unit out of the way when you need more room in the sink for whatever reason. The finish is attractive and does not detract from your kitchen decor. It's performance seems very good, as it is easy to notice an improved taste of the filtered water over that coming out of the faucet when you bypass the filtering process. The only thing that keeps me from awarding this device a full 5-star rating is my past experience with this manufacturer's products. Of course I don't know how long the unit I have just purchased will last, but the previous units did suffer from leaks developing over time. These were not large or continuous leaks, but drops or fine streams of water leaking from the body of the unit during the time that water is being run through the filter cartridge. The last unit I owned had the filter life LED light built in, as does the newest unit. It failed after about 2 years of use. So, that final star is being held in abeyance, awaiting my determination as to the life history of this newest unit. That aside, I was still impressed enough with the overall performance of the PUR water filter, that I replaced my old one with a new PUR device. I believe they are an excellent buy, at their price point, and the replacement filter cartridges are available at numerous outlets, both on the internet and at brick and mortar stores. So, it is quite possible to shop for the best available price or to get a quick replacement when you accidentally run out of refills and need one, quickly.

Great Product- Safe Water
We received a notice about possible lead in our drinking water, so I proactively bought this filtration system. It was easy to install and works great. The water out of my facet tastes just as good as bottled water and saves money too.

I love these.
I bought this for my Mother. Her old one died after many years of use. I too use the same one and love it. Her water had a strong mineral taste and now taste clear. It does slow the water pressure as it is going through a filter so I fill a 1 gallon pitcher that I keep in my fridge for quick access to filtered water. They are easy to install.

Not sure what it is doing (well water)
TLDR: I have this on a faucet that is directly connected to my well. It does not seem to be doing anything. Here's the background. Our water supply is from our well. Lots of sediments in the water and the water is extremely hard. The water is GREAT for plants and probably humans as well. But the hard water plays havoc on the appliances, bathroom fittings, sinks, pipes etc. and washing clothes is a nightmare. You have to use a lot of softener. Installed a salt based water softening system. This works great but the taste isnt great. And plants dislike this water and so does the dog. Yes, the fussy dog wont drink the water! So we installed an RO system under the kitchen sink for drinking water. The water is FANTASTIC! The wife then started eating my head about getting untreated water for her from the basement so she could water the potted plants on the main level - especially in the winter. I decided the best solution was to disconnect the butler's pantry sink faucet from the softened water and connect it directly to the well water. I connected this filter to the butlers pantry sink faucet. Why? because the water from the well is always cold. Its a nice refreshing cold and I love to drink this water but dont because of the sediments. I figured the filter would remove the sediments and any harmful elements from the water. And this is where the mystery begins. Installing this thing was a breeze. It helps to read the instructions (which I did not) because you may save time by not having to test all the adapters. Oh yes - it comes with adapters that fit various sizes of faucets. I think it might even fit my bathroom vanity faucet which is an odd shape (but no use here as the water is softened at this outlet). But you might have that weird faucet that this wont fit - so be prepared. Suffice to say one of the adapters worked for my faucet. I ran the water for 5 minutes through the filter as per the instructions. I collected the water and found that it was not cloudy and i did not see any carbon particles either. Tasted the water and it was cold but tasted different. Not bad but not great like the RO water. Nowhere near as great as the RO water. So I decided the use my TDS Meter Digital Water tester and the attached pictures are the results. 1) Unfiltered water - PPM 214 2) Water from the PUR filter - PPM 222 (?!?!?) 3) Water from the RO with inline mineralization capsule - PPM 39. Color me confused. Maybe someone can respond and shed some light on what is happening here. I have no idea why the PPM in the filtered water is greater that the unfiltered water. I dont expect the filter to soften the water. I dont want it to soften the water. I expected some reduction in the PPM but I definitely did not expect the count to go up. I performed the test again and the results were the same. So what gives? Three stars because I dont want to dis a product without understanding what it is doing. I have not done a chemical analysis of the water to know exactly what is happening. It is probably doing its thing.
