Just as good as a comparable Krypton lock and more than half the price, and comes with a super thick/extra long plastic coated cable so you can protect your front wheel, and even your seat simultaneously, from being stolen. I've been cycling for exercise and transportation as well for the last 25 years and learned from experience, any thing on your bike that is not locked or removed, (including the entire bike itself) will eventually get stolen while your at work, shopping in store, at school, or even at a house of worship.I like the fact that this lock does not have a bend while locking notch on the other, it locks on both sides and slides straight in and out, making it so much easier to accommodate various styles of bike racks in town or whatever is handy to lock up to. The key mechanism is very smooth, only takes a half turn, has a slide over cover for the lock cylinder to avoid dirt and grit causing it to jam up. I highly recommend, would buy again and ya just can't go wrong for this price.UPDATE: 4/18/2021 Lock is great, mounting hardware, not so much, sticks out WAY too far from bike - will get in way of shift/brake cables if mounted on down tube (if your cables are not internal) - had to mount it on seat post to not hit my legs while peddling - also needs to be twisted in and out of mounting instead of just sliding in and out - mounting pin on lock itself also sticks out too far and must be adjusted or it hooks onto spokes while slipping through back wheel to lock.. still good lock for price, had to take a star off it though, I've had many U-locks, never saw one with this type of mount-reinforces my theory that the people that make and market these products don't personally use them

The lock mount works wonderfully. I have it secured in a vertical position. Very sturdy and not too heavy. I have an ebike so I use a u lock, a cable lock and a strange unfolding flat lock. If you can figure all this out and steal my bike, you deserve it. The titanker has been criticized for it's mount. I think it's brilliant. the mount lets me rotate the lock outwardto disconnect from the bike which let's me mount it where I don't have to worry about vertical clearance. Ingenious design. Use it every day for 6 months. No problem with lock or mount. ( I think they fixed the mounting bracket issue)To those who have any problems with lock keys or mounts I say this "use some lubricant every so often" even Dollar Tree lubricant goes a long way to keep your bike running smoothly including locks

I bought this to secure my snow blower, since i dont have a garage any longer. it comes wit ha 6ft rubber coated braided steel tether , a mount with quick release to store the lock while not in use, & the lock itself, also comes with the screws to install all included hardware. Theres even a cover for the key hole, to protect it from weather & conceal it a bit. certainly a good deterrent , would recommend.

Hard core lock but it’s just so heavy. Didn’t want to keep it because I didn’t want to carry it around but there is no way anyone is stealing your bike with this lock.

I was worried to get something that wasn't a well known name brand.. but it's better than a couple of well known name brand ones I've owned. It holds up really well in rainy, humid climates such as Florida.

Good quality, heavy and nice looking the only issue I had was the mounting bracket , once I installed the Ulock got stuck and I had brake it in order to be able to take out the ulock now I had to figure out how to carry it when riding other than that it works good. I would recommend it

The actual lock itself works fine (though not exceptionally well - it binds a tiny bit occasionally) but the mounting system is comprehensively awful. I bought this about five or six months ago and was immediately skeptical because it felt like I was about to break the mounting mechanism every time I removed the lock. The issue is that the red release lever is tiny and tricky to press and if you don't press it ALL the way in, the lock won't release properly (in fact, even if you DO press it, it sometimes sticks). This means that it takes a fair amount of force to remove the lock. in addition, the mount doesn't actually stay in place on the bike (it slides and twists even if you tighten the mounting bolts significantly). Yesterday the inevitable happened and the mounting mechanism broke as I tried to remove the lock. I then tried to jimmy the lock free so I could use it and the entire mechanism just sheared in half (it's made of brittle plastic). So now I have a decent lock with the broken remains of a crappy bike mount stuck to it until I can figure out a way to cut/break the remainder off.I would absolutely not recommend this purchase - the lock is fine; the mount is just awful.EDIT: Titanker contacted me after I posted this review, told me that they are looking into improving the design, and gave me a partial refund to compensate me for the nonfunctional lock mount. One star added for good customer service!
