Sony PlayStation 2 Console - Black (Renewed)

I ordered a ps2 from these guys and was super excited to receive it! Been wanting to play my GTA: vice city like crazy! It shipped fast and was packaged very well. Everything went easy installing as always with these consoles. The game played for a minute then stopped reading the disk. So I tried multiple games to make sure it wasn't my disk and sure enough, it wouldn't read at all. I reached out to the company and they accepted my return for a replacement console! I won't be able to ship mine out until tomorrow but they already have my replacement on the way!!! Very professional and very satisfied so far with the process. I'm hoping my replacement works just fine and will update once I get it! No need to make a scene when it comes to refurbished electronics. It is a gamble buying these things but they were quick on replacing it! Thanks guys! Update!!! Got my new one in the mail today and it works PERFECTLY!! So happy they quickly got me a replacement. The controller up and down buttons don't work, but it's okay because I have plenty other working controllers. Y'all are amazing and will recommend you guys to anyone looking for a refurbished console!

Like I'm sure a lot of use old gamers, a refurbished console is a hit or miss. I took a gamble and so far it paid off! It works just like I remembered! It's even reading my original ps2 saves just fine! It was shipped it very protective packaging! Double boxed! The console came pretty dusty, but I'd rather have dust than it not working! Mine will sometimes make a studering sound when I turn it on and off. I did buy a protection plan especially for a refurbished console. Which I would recommend. I'm hoping the sound doesn't develop into something else. But as if right now, it's absolutely perfect for a refurbished old console!

Ordered this refurb unit and the first one arrived and did not work. The disc drive made disturbing noises that sounded like it was about to break apart. After several attempts, it would eventually (and slowly) read the disc. Once it did, it would not play all the audio tracks on the game. When trying to start the game, it would stay at the loading screen (left it for 5 minutes and no progress). Also the protective sleeve on the controller cable arrived torn. Did the return process through Amazon and got a second unit to replace the first. Second unit did the same thing. Do not order these units from Amazon. There is clearly no kind of testing to see if these things work properly. I would give no stars if possible but at least the return/refund process with Amazon is easy so this one star is ok I guess.

I received the 3001 series and all works perfectly. The console is in really good condition. It is a bit dusty and have not opened it yet for hdmi mod, still like I said it functions and looks perfect!

Took time to be delivery and as expected for be renewed product have scratches and no cleaned areas but the product works great. I play several games and every single one come true without any issues, and after several hours of playing games I don't found any problem . Just I need to try a DVD to see if the works too but my priority for this PS 2 is gaming . So to be honest I'm happy to be patient on the delivery time and now I can enjoy once more my PS 2 games . Thanks for this product.

It didn’t work but I love it

Perfect condition, came with the original ethernet network adapter in the back.

The product I received was not as advertised. Sure, it functions (for now), but I'm disappointed for the following reasons: -The pictures show a cosmetically pleasant PS2 with no scratches, but the one I received came with a black plastic veneer glued over the top to cover what I assume are a plethora of scratches (there is a cutout in the veneer where the "PS2" logo is, and I can see scratches continuing onto the logo from where the veneer covers it). The corners of the PS2 are also dented and beat up. -The controller that came with the PS2 is some kind of second-tier controller that looks like something you'd buy at a mall stand. Sure, it works, but it's pretty irritating to have been given a knock-off item that was not shown in the pictures. -The rotatable PS2 icon on the disc tray is missing its decal. -Some of my games don't work. This is likely due to my games having scratches, but the deceptive circumstances of this situation as a whole forces me to cast reasonable doubt that the games are the sole problem. Also, I would like to point out that while the product description does not explicitly say the PS2 comes with an S400 port, it feels a bit deceptive that the product pictures are angled in such a way to ambiguously hide this port.

Llego todo en orden, funciona al 100 por ciento y en muy buenas condiciones. Sin embargo, el control no es el ilustrado en la publicación, lo cual puede ser engañoso.

Es un artículo muy viejo, es verdad. Pero, estaba emocionado porque lo quería, el artículo está “funcionando” pero, el lector se traba, ni sale. Si enciende, si hay imagen, si te interesa hackearla adelante. Se ve funcional pero no está excelente. Entiendo que pues es un artículo que ya no se produce y tiene sus años, lo normal. 😑

Pensé que vendría en mejores condiciones internas, tal vez tuve una mala idea de que al ser reacondicionado vendría con el mantenimiento mínimo interno pero no es así; la consola estaba con polvo en su interior.
