Need to Cut some of the faring
Good product. It will protect the bike. I did not like that I need it to cut some of the faring, but the guards work and look good

THIS CAGE SAVED MY LIFE
I was involved in a head on collision. Had I not installed this I wouldn't be writing this review right now. Worth every damn penny!!!

Great
Faily easy install. Need to drill a 2" hole in the upper part of the fairing to bolt it down. Hardware was a little funky but worked nonetheless. All in all pretty good product.

I purchased 2017 Ninja 650 which was already installed with this crash cage, but..
I recently purchased 2017 Ninja 650 with 2,540 miles on it and the crash cage was already installed by the previous owner. I did not check the crash cage carefully since it looked so cool. However, after riding my Ninja 650 for a while, I realized that the crash cage was NOT installed properly. It was sooo bad, I felt stupid for not noticing it when I purchased the bike. :( ... Upon thorough inspection, it turned out that a few parts seemed to have been fell off and I did not even look safe. So, I contacted the seller via Amazon here by posting questions and sending messages via Facebook a few times to buy parts & installation manual if there is any, but the seller did NOT respond at all. Pretty bad customer service !! So, I gave 3 stars since I believe that any seller should maintain some minimal level of customer service. But to be fair though, if installed properly, the crash cage should work well based on the design of the cage.HOWEVER, as stated in the explanation above, installation of this crash cage requires drilling through and removing/re-installation of the fairings.
