I had several old jars with crumbling seals. These replacement seals were perfect.

These work really well in my jar pour lids. I had to switch out the ones they came with after a year because they weren't leak proof anymore, and even though these were a bit bigger they work great.

I purchased these to replace some old, dry-rotted rubber gaskets on some antique jars I have. While they cannot be used for water-bath canning or pressure canning (the seal would be insufficient for food safety), they do work well for dry storage for my beans, rice, flour, etc. They are sized as advertised and were easy to install. Their neutral color is nicer than the white or red I got when I purchased rubber gaskets, and I doubt I will need to replace these any time soon, if ever.

I purchased these to make sure that the cheap white mason jar lids from Walmart will seal when tightened down. The silicone rings do the job, though they are sized just slightly large for the inside diameter of the lids. I'd rather have it that way than too small, of course, because then they wouldn't seal properly. In the end, though, I would still go with the Ball brand PP5 leak proof lids instead of the cheap lid and silicone ring combo. However, if you want to do the trick where you use an Oster stainless steel blender guts as your liquid culture lid, these rings will do the job. Seriously, YouTube that. There's a video on it.

I often use a non-metallic lid on jars and these are perfect to get a good seal.

When I bough this there were no pictures of the product so i didn't know if they were for mason jars or bail top jars.

I originally ordered other silicone seals but there was so very much extra material that stuck out all around the jar, these do have some overhang but not near as much as others.

I bought 3 different kinds and this are the best. seals very tight, no licks. Best purchase great quality. They are somewhat sturdy and flat. fits perfect. ( I bought some more ) this is no joke. Frenchmen who loves to work in the kitchen, garden too. Have fun with all of your projects. Don't buy from eorta very flimsy true garbage. This company could make more money by making same type of rings for small jars. Please we need some for small jars. Frenchmen.
