Able to see of jupiter and its moons and craters on our Moon easily
Assembly was done within 30 minutesThe tripod stand is light to carry and features a holder for various lens and their covers. The eye-piece is a little surprising in that it rotates about the main telescope axis very freely and does not stay in a fixed position. The mechanisms to lock movement about the any particular axis aren't obvious especially in the dark. It would help to keep a small light handy while using the scope. The view finder does not point in the same direction as the telescope in general, it needs adjusting using the alignment screws provided. The knobs provided for Ra and Dec adjustment are made of bendable plastic tubes that keep the instrument light while allowing fine movement of the scope.I was not able to use the 3x barlow extentsion along with the provided 3mm and 20mm eye-pieces to get a zoomed in view of whatever was in focus.Overall, I'm happy that I was able to observer celestial objects more clearly. It is a decent telescope for beginners that delivers on the promise while introducing you to the world of astronomy and all its technicalities. The constant movement of closer celestial objects like the moon and jupiter make it tricky to keep the scope alinged at an object constantly.

Good telescope for beginners.
I have been using this since last about 2 months. My observations are as under:1. Build quality is very good.2. EQ mount is quit good but has light weight. Has to put heavy object on it to make it stable.3. Included lenses are good to see moon only. More lenses especially plossl and 2x barlow to be purchases separately.4. Chromatic aberration is quite visible.I have been able to see moon and Jupiter alongwith its 3 moons (using extra purchased plossl lenses and barlow). See attached photo of moon taken with my Galaxy A5. Slight Blur is due to shaking of phone.Overall this a nice telescope to begin with.

Great refracting telescope for any beginner.
I have for last couple of years been contemplating to buy a telescope and venture out into astronomical world. Did a lot of research and finally went for this EQ mount refracting telescope. For a beginner, it is very important to realize what do you want to do with your telescope? Will it be a pass-time hobby, or a serious one where you get to spend a lot of time and also watch celestial objects and DSO. Since I am a novice, I made a decision to buy the Celestron PowerSeeker 70 EQ and I can say-(1) It has really great quality Objective (70mm lens),(2) It is pretty light weight and I have already seen the Orion's nebula twice on two different night,(3) It is really great value for money. However, there are some cons too-(1) The mount steel stand is not that stable, not good build (however I have attached a heavy bag, to make it stable)(2) The telescope itself shakes a lot while focusing, a normal for any such cheap builds. need to wait for 2-3 sec after focusing(3) 25mm eyepiece is great, however providing a 4 mm eyepiece for this 2.75" telescope is actually not justified. Using the 3X Barlow with 25mm does the job.(4)The declination and accession knobs are not good quality,(5) Does not have any azimuth knob (had to manually move when polar aligning. However, I am not complaining, for a 2.75" refracting lens within 12K with such great quality I have started learn the night sky. I do wish to upgrade to a reflecting telescope later but had to begin somewhere.Good telescope, can improve on the stand and would suggest to provide a 10mm eyepiece rather than a 4mm eyepiece.

Great
Great for beginners. Easy to assemble

For something like this, ideally
Very difficult to assemble. And use. No technical support available on the ground, physically, in India. And that's really challenging. For something like this, ideally, there should be someone doing installation and demo, much like consumer appliances like large TV
