I had a problem finding this in the stores, so i figured I'd take a chance and order one and hope it fit. It did and worked perfect and was easy to install. I know where i can get more if i need to replace them in my other doors.

Perfect fit and affordable... took a while to get to me
This was a perfect fit and much cheaper than buying a replacement handleset. It did however take over a week to get to me (so I dropped my 5 star rating to 4). That was disclosed upon ordering and perhaps I'm just a litlle bit spoiled, but I wanted to mention it.

just right for replacing a failed strike
The door between my garage and house gets a lot of use and these Schlage locks are great.However, About every two years, the strike fails.The small locking pin gets jammed and it wont let the large pin slide when the door closes, you have to turn the lever. Makes a lot of noise when the door slam and doesn't latch....Bought one of these at the lock shop last time, cost was double of that here.So far I am happy with the replacement as it is genuine Schlage, however I expect it to fail in two years as all the others have. (which I why I bought more than one).

Perfect fit.
Product fits perfect. I give it 3 stars because the quality of Schlage seems to have gone down hill. I've had to replace several of these in my house. The most recent replacement only lasted about 2 years. They have all been genuine Schlage parts.

repaired worn out lockset on my garage door.
Saved 25 dollars by not having to replace the whole lockset and probably another 15 by not having new keys made.
