I have a MacBook Air 2011; the original battery barely lasted 40 minutes.I chose this battery because of Japan electric core, Cobalt content and # of cycles - not sure if this is marketing jargon but assuming it is correct.Got the battery the next day as I ordered after-hours. Installation was a breeze with the included screwdrivers and instructions. Did not have to use included screws or pads. Showed 1 cycle which is great. mAh rating was 7,400 instead of the rated 7,200.Overall I am glad I chose this and did it myself over having Apple to do it - no appointments, no waiting. 2 minutes to order and about 10 minutes to install. Will know how many cycles this battery will last so will update this review later.Very important: First drain the new battery after installation, then charge it fully, let it drain again. Do this a couple of times and the battery will last as it should.I got 9 hours with only safari running and screen at 50% brightness on my MacBook Air 2011.Paid full price on Amazon; this review is not for any free product received.

I spilled water across my macbook's keyboard and after letting it dry out, the only thing wrong with it was that the OEM battery was completely shot. I took it to the apple store and they said there was nothing they could do. I did a good amount of research and there were only 3 providers on Amazon that I considered and ended up going with this seller due to the the recent posting and detailed battery specs.It took less than 30 minutes to install. There were no issues. I think I read a complaint about the screwdrivers provided, but I had no problems removing the screws with them. Just take your time and make sure to use to correct size or you will strip the screws. New screws and pads are also provided, but I didn't need them. (I took the opportunity to clean the area VERY carefully). I read that it is best to fully charge the battery and let it remain charging at 100% for at least 2 hours and then drain the battery with a movie or something and then let it cool down for 5 hours. Repeat. This helps calibrate the battery and maximize its capacity. The process worked for me.It has been a couple days and my MacBook is reporting that the battery has a Full Charge Capacity (mAh) of 7392, which is nearly 200 mAh more than reported by the seller. A pleasant surprise. My laptop was running very slow and now its back to normal, but that may have been because my battery was completely shot before swapping it out with this one. I will update in a few months to report on its durability, but as of now I would recommend this product.

The battery in my Macbook Air died after 5 years of hard work. I picked this model due to the warranty, and extra parts, I'm glad I did because at 30% charge it charged to 100% is less than a hour. iI might not be the cheapest replacement battery in the group but so far I'm impressed.Very simple to install if you've worked on Macbooks before. The extra screws come in handy if you drop one, and the screw drivers are the correct sizes. Well worth the extra price.Cheers

The battery was easy to install and worked well for about four months. Then it started losing it's charge very quickly. It now only holds charge for 2 hours at the dimmest screen setting, with little activity. I sent three emails to the seller over a month with no reply. I contacted Amazon, who gave me the number of the seller, but when I called I was informed by an automated voice that the person I called was using Google to screen calls, and asked to state the nature of my call. I explained I had a product question, and after a minute the automated voice said that the number I was calling wasn't available. I contacted Amazon and they couldn't help me. They suggested I contact the manufacturer, which I will do.

I am very happy to have chosen this product for my Mac Book Air.I selected this package because the tools were included and they are specific, I did not have them. You will also find the screws and the 4 pads. The replacement is very easy it took me about 10min and after just 5 days the battery works perfectly.I went from 5 stars to 2 stars. The battery is dead, only 9 months later. I need to get a new one this time it will be a genuine apple battery.

The battery was super easy to install and comes with all the tools. Would have given this a 4 star but my MacBook sometimes dies out of nowhere due to low battery even after a full charge. It doesn’t happen regularly but once in awhile the battery will fail.The price can’t be beat vs. buying original Apple batteries. This is not my primary laptop so I don’t mind the random battery failure but if you are using your MacBook regularly for school or business I would be aware of the potential issue.

I just got my battery for 3 weeks . So far it seems very good. I was thinking to change my Mac Book because battery life was 1-2 hours without cable. And I decided to try change battery (price for computer is times higher). Installation was very easy besides of screwdrivers which broken before I finished my work (after one set of screws . I was lucky to have same screwdriver at home. Otherwise , I am satisfied. I don't know how long this battery will be able to hold a charge but I will comment later for that.

I used this battery as a replacement in my Mac Air. Chose this vendor for best warranty as most others aspects were common to most vendors. Watched several You Tube videos, then did the replacement on the kitchen table with the tools which came with the battery. The tools worked just fine. Replacement was super easy, less than 15 minuets. The computer did not complete boot on first start up, so I placed it on charge for several hours, (this type of incident was mentioned in some of the You Tube videos so no worries), then computer booted and worked fine. The battery profile automatically posted in System Report with the correct ID and capacity levels. Its more than a month later and the replacement battery is working as good as the original when it was new. I am using this same computer to compose and place this review.
