It is 1 inch. I got it to go with my nice mattress cover. Both together it decent. No it doesn't help my pain very much. I am sick. I have a disease that has chronic pain, and there is no beddi g that eases it. It can be a little more comfortable. So with this and my new mattress pad, my new mattress is more comfortable. It's worth what I paid for it. It's under my nice mattress pad. To use like this then I would recommend it.

Not so thick that you can’t move, perfectly adds absolute comfort

I ordered a beige (not that color matters) eggshell topper, but instead received a large piece of flat foam that is very firm and dense and not very breathable. As there were no other choices listed, I couldn't possibly have accidentally picked a different topper. I am disappointed, to say the least. The foam I received is okay and makes it so you cannot feel the springs in my older mattress, but it only adds another layer of firmness, even with the cushy mattress pad. To shrink this down into the packaging again to return it would be impossible. At any rate, it will make some nice upholstery foam.

Good quality

This is not an egg crate, just a cheap foam flat pad. It arrived partially wrapped in plastic, but is still dirty. Now I cannot fold it or compress it back into the same box it came in. I'm pissed!

For the price, and speed of delivery, I am very happy with this purchase. Be careful, since it's only an inch it can tear easily. But it definitely made a difference on our futon mattress!

I liked everything about this mattress cover. Comfort plus!

Very very thin, almost transparent. Cheaply made. Not worth returning.
