1955-1988 GM (all Models) Door Panel Window Regulator Spring. Used to keep tension on the window crank door handle at the door panel. These were on all cars from the factory - it was used to keep the door panel tight against to the window crank so there was not a gap at the door panel. With out them the door panel does not sit tight against the door panel causing a big gap. These springs are not what was described
In the photo you will see what I received is not what is advertised. That is a quarter next to the springs I received. The description in the ad states: "This a brand new inline tube factory correct reproduction. It is the correct size, shape, Length made from the correct grade steel plated the correct Silver / Gold Zinc Color." Not only are they incorrect but they won't work. The end of the spring protudes through the door panel pushing against the crank rather than the panel. The other end isn't deep or large enough in diameter to fit the main window crank base. Compare the springs I received with the description and picture in the add....
