While this item does replace a broken connector shell some simple instructions would have been appreciated. Once I figured out how everything went together, and did multiple test fits to be sure I was right, I was able to successfully repair the connector. A caution on being sure the shrink tubing is pushed close to the flange would be a good idea. The portion of the shrink tubing covering the wires heated up and shrunk first, pulling the tubing away from the flange. There was still enough tubing covering the shell, but only just enough.

It works fine, but that's a lot of money for a piece of plastic that breaks easily. It's a Meyer - only piece, though; not a lot of options out there.

It broke the second time I opened it to plug the plow in. Complete waste of money.

broke off 2 flaps, junk plastic caps and no cap replacement. local store wants $100.00 for the whole thing.you'd think Meyers would change out the flap for steel vs. plastic. I went with a 13 pin Boss plow wiring harness for $60.00

Horrible design. I've broken the cap off two seasons in a row. $75 to replace. Meyer sure is proud of this piece of plastic! If they had a clue they'd at least make the door replaceable like Hopkins does on their 7pin RV plugs.
