Shipping was good and also the book.

This is a textbook I am using for a Typography class. The content is very interesting and the book is beautifully laid out. Great book to have on the bookshelf, I think.

Required reading for college

This book is a great reference for anyone interested in making an entrance to editorial design.

Great book - covers all aspects of editorial design. It's relevant, accurate, up to date and has great examples.

Kinda useless content for an advanced designer, i was expecting something more.

It's great for begginers. It's a really good place to start. A little bit to theoretical

It's a great book if you are really interested in print design. It covers everything you need to know from layout to typography to photography. And has lots of great examples, interviews and exercises to reinforce its main points.In spite of the title this book doesn't cover digital design very well and mostly as an afterthought. It's digital content is also a little too focused on designing for tablets at that. I feel as though it needs an extra chapter just on digital to be worth it.

This book is a first class compendium of all things editorial design. An instruction manual, good practice guide and terminology lexicon.This is a great read, with lots of examples from an industry point of view. Great images in kindle book and paperback.
