I used these and some of their other fittings to make a frame using EMT to shade a veggie garden with shade cloth. Ordered a front panel of shade cloth in anticipation of summer's approach. Works great, and is easy to assemble. Should last a long time! Except of course, the shade cloth...

Worked great on my playa shade structure. Will see how they withstand a year or two in storage after exposure to alkaline sand. Just a suggestion: Adding a couple extra eyelets would be helpful. They can easily get lost.

Last year I purchased a set of these based on a recommendation from a friend. I would have given them 5 stars, they were as advertised and while more expensive than others notably better. This year I wanted to grow my structure and reordered more. The new product (the base on the left) is significantly cheaper made. I can buy these locally for $3 each. I've given this two stars only that they are steel and work with 1" conduit. The old ones are marked FFPBW these are marked XFP. Old ones are galvanized new are zinc, old ones use thicker steel, new ones have a significantly smaller base plate with holes that won't take anything but a tiny tent stake, the old ones work with 1/2" lag bolts no problem. Old ones have beveled edges so there are no sharp edges new ones are sharp anywhere there is an edge. Welds are better as well. For something so simply there is a rather large amount of details I can find inferior.

I have been using these type fittings for several years. I use regular metal electrical conduit for poles. Great for creating a lot of things other than tents too. We use them in the florets industry making custom flower hangings and other things for weddings. With the right fittings you can make almost any design quickly. Just keep on hand several lengths pipe for changing designs. Great that you can use EMT as you can get it ant most hardware store, Home Depot, and Lowes.

Well assembled. Good Material. I was able to do what I needed to fasten down legs.

Nice & heavy duty. I used these for some tent poles being used to hold up an awning. The poles were a little thinner than these holders but the screws adjusted fine to hold them snuggly.

bad quality. first set was good second set was really bad quality. There is no consistency with their products

The base metal is too thin and does not support the post and tarp weight, the base flange bends easily not providing enough support and stability.
