This book is perfect for a 2 year old. It’s simple and straight to the point. My boy loves fire trucks 🚒 and he really enjoyed all of the pictures in this book. This author/illustrator’s collection of books are simple, sweet, and a little hint of old fashioned. Love them!

My daughter adores Monica Wellington's stories and illustrations (eg. "Mr. Cookie Baker" and "Apple Farmer Annie") so I decided to add this one to our collection. She's not quite as obsessed with this one as the two others, but she definitely likes it and selects it often enough. If your child is into fire fighters or fire trucks, I think this book would go over very well with him or her.
