This glue works on everything.
Easy to use. Can be thinned to us on lightweight papers. I used it to glue a frame on a canvas and it holds very well. Used it on wood to repair a piece that came loose. Washes clean with very little effort and is clear when it dries. Great product. I recommend it to my friends and family.

Glue stick in a jar
I bought of jar of this for collage several years ago, forgot I had it, then found it recently. I was able to revive it somewhat by adding a little water, but ultimately I decided to try a new jar. Worth the investment for use on small or thin bits of paper. I'll try to use the old jar for gluing larger, stiffer things like cardstock or cardboard that can withstand application with a credit card, which is going to be the only way I can use it.I like this paste because it goes on drier than glue with much less wrinkling, like a glue stick. Paper-to-paper adhesion is very good (I don't know about other materials), and it washes off fingers and tools with water. Keep the rim of the jar and the lid very clean, or you'll struggle mightily to get the jar open again, as others have noted. Application is best with a stiff brush, old credit card, or even your fingers, but be aware that this stuff is super sticky.

The ONLY glue I use for collage and mixed media art!
This glue is perfect for working with paper collage elements. It goes on smoothly (with a sponge brush, not included). Also, it dries slowly enough that I can rearrange the pieces for a few minutes after placing them, but quickly enough that I can extra layers without concerns about buckling. For many years, I recommended acrylic painting mediums (gel mediums, especially) for collage work. The problem was: Sometimes (actually, often) the paper would stretch, buckle, or bubble either as I placed it or as it dried.I've been using Yes! Paste for about two years now, and the paper has never buckled or bubbled, even if I removed it (while still wet) to place it on a different part of the collage. That's pretty remarkable. So, for me, this is a must-own product if you're working with paper collage, especially magazine images, or tissue paper, or both.Yes, it's more expensive than some acrylic options, but it's worth every cent.

Gane Yes flat glue
I purchased this product to see if it would adhere cold laminate that was painted with acrylic onto cardstock, foam board and a variety of artists paper. So far it is the only glue that works on cold laminate & it doesn't buckle or wrinkle. Other types of glue including liquitex mediums initially lay flat then buckle so your artwork can not be reproduced by print companies. I have also used this glue for paper crafts. Even some of the glue designed for paper did not work as well as this glue does. This product is very thick, like vasoline. You only need to use a small amount but be sure to cover the entire surface. I would recommend a brush or sponge type brush. Glue is very stickly so you want to keep it off your hands when touching an art creation or you can smear what you are working on. Cleans up with soap & water. You will need to keep the top of the jar clean around the edges or you will not be able to open the container. Product should work quite well for mixed media.

The best for art journal collage!
I can't state how much I LOVE this paste! So much better than a glue stick. Yes, it is a little bit more work to spread it on with a palette knife than to just use a glue stick, but well worth it. Once it dries, the adhesion is better than with most glue sticks. Also, it is possible to get a totally smooth coat covering the whole back so you don't see the "glue trails" from the front of the image. I also like that the item remains re-positional for a minute in case I don't get it in just the right spot. The fact that it is water soluble makes clean up easy. I keep a small jar (a Yoplait Oui jar) on my work space into which I can rinse my fingers when necessary...works great! Also, a little bit goes a LONG way, so if this jar seems pricey to you, it is because it is going to last you forever! haha! A tip to ensure it doesn't dry out is to transfer some into a smaller jar (an old face lotion jar, or something similar in size) and work from that, rather than opening and closing the giant jar all the time. Also, be sure to always wipe the rim of the jar, otherwise the lid will become glued on!

The best art paste
This stuff is the best and is my go-to favorite paste for any art. It stays tacky if you need to move it for a little while to get the perfect position and dries without wrinkling even the most delicate of papers. I collage using antique and very fragile upcycled papers, and they never wrinkle after drying. Very high quality, archival, non-toxic, easy to wash off if you get it on your hands or clothes. Honestly can't rave enough about this product!
