Great seed tape
I ordered this to use for seed tape. I have used TP in the past with success to accurately space carrot and beets seed in the garden. This is a big step up in convenience, accuracy, and ease of use. I tried it with radish seed to see if germination was good and it worked very well I would recommend this product if you want your seeds properly spaced and hate thinning like I do. Just place your seeds on the sticky side of the paper at the proper distance and fold the strip with sticky sides together and you will have a 1/2 inch seed tape to plant cheaper than the commercial ones. I used my fingers to place the seed but tweezers would be helpful.

A winner!
I love this stuff. In the past I had to cut up toilet paper rolls and glue the seed to the paper. lol This paper is so easy to use. The seeds stick really well. I'm planting carrots tomorrow. Usually I end up using a whole carrot seed pack in the first 15" of the garden row, and then had to thin out 3/4 of them. The seeds are perfectly spaced on the tape, and stuck in place. I look forward to see if the tape dissolves with water. I only have one wish. I have seen a small hand crank tool, when it is set up, it takes the seeds in a distribution cup and cranks the tape out and the seeds are deposited on the tape. It takes 3 minutes to do a whole seed package. Wished I could find that tool.

For a dissolvable tape, on purpose, it's pretty darn good.
I'm not really sure all the applications this product would have, I bought it because I saw a lady using it to make seed tapes with. I usually use toilet paper and flour glue, but I saw her and thought, Naaaw. That won't work. So of course I ordered a small roll. It impressed me from the get go. The stickiness of the tape itself is really good. Nice and strong. Nothing like I thought it would be for a dissolving tape. Them I folded it over and ran it under warm and cold water. Litterly less than 10 second and the tape was fully dissolved. I WAS AMAZEBALLS impressed. I plan on ordering the wider rolls for making carrot seed tapes for the garden this winter. Completely blown away by this product.

I learned about this tape on the "Elsbeth" tv show and didn't believe it was real!
This tape was a plot point on the TV show "Elsbeth" and I thought they made it up for plot purposes, but then someone told me it's a real product, so I had to try it!It does, in fact. dissolve when wet (make sure your hands are dry when you use it-- unless you WANT it to dissolve). So far it seems to work well and stay stuck on what I wnt it to be stuck on (mostly glass jars) and takes the ink from my pens well when I write on it.I was hoping the backing would also dissolve, but alas! When I put it in water, it did not do so.So, I would say this take works amazingly well if you want tape that you can easily remove with water (no more laborious scrubbing of glue off things when you change the label!) but you do still have the non-dissolving backing to dispose of.By "backing" I mean the tape comes on a roll where the sticky label tape is backed by a non-sticky paper, much like peel-and-stick labels of other kinds).Althought the package claims to be certified safe for water, i do wonder what this magic stuff is made of and if it's really safe for the environment. But if the label is telling me the truth, I think it's pretty awesome.

Not very sticky
This is a fantastic concept with the water-soluble tape but this product needs more adhesive. The tape hardly holds my fabric down when I use it for "in-the-hoop" projects or machine applique.

GAME CHANGER!!!
I bought the 2 inch tape to use for garden seeds, along with a pair of good tweezers. Let me say, this worked perfectly with the teeny seeds of carrots all the way to the larger prickly seeds of beets. Very easy to use (i folded the ends down a bit to stick to the table while loading the seeds)... I will try to edit this post AFTER I put the tape out in the garden and see how it actually works! :)

Water soluble seed tape
Used it for carrot seeds. It works just like we thought it would. Only suggestion is you can space the seeds closer than 1” like you see in videos or read about. The purpose in using the tape is keeping the seeds separated and not bunched up. We dug a shallow trench, placed the tape in the trench, covered it with soil, watered it and carrots came up. Just not as many as we hoped since we spaced them too far apart. Will use again next year for sure.
