It’s a nice soap. Original ..though? I wonder what their definition of “original” is.. the 2nd, 3rd or 4th modifications do not qualify as the “original”. The 1st is the one and only original. Do they think everyone from 1987 is either dead, homeless, demented or permanently covid sense-of-smell impaired? It smells COMPLETELY different from the very first, ORIGINAL, which is the REAL original. This is not, by any means, the fault of the seller. LEVER 2000 please refer back to the first bar soap release and quit trying to dupe people into believing this fallacy or simply drop “original” from the packaging. You are not fooling anyone. I give 4 stars solely based on LEVER’S blatant and disrespectful deception of the people supporting them. RIDICULOUS GREAT SELLER. PACKAGE ARRIVED QUICKLY & w/o damage. BETTER VALUE than other sellers, too.

I have contact allergies and psoriasis so soaps and other direct contact with my skin are difficult to find with pleasant scents. I stumbled upon the lever 2000 about 8 years ago when I ran out of soap and grabbed a bar a family member had left. Expecting the worse, I had no symptoms of being sensitive to it, nor after several uses did my skin develop additional plaque. Since then it has been the only body soap I used, until Covid, when my supplier stopped carrying it. I was fortunate as I had stockpiled a bunch knowing shortages were bound to happen… Since Covid, I hadn’t found any locally or in my travels as I searched the store shelves in vain. Just as I was using my emergency bar (from my travel kit), I was desperate and contacted Unilever the manufacture and was told they still were selling it and to check online… and the Topical Store had many overpriced sources, but this one seemed to have the most reasonable price so I bought up 2 years worth. So other than not causing me to break out, what is so good about it? It suds well, gets dirt and grease off without overstripping the oils from my skin. I leaves a light fresh scent, something most hypo-allergic soaps fail to have (or they over perfume them with lavender or other frilly perfumes). And, if you open the fats up so they can off gas, they will harden making them last a long time. rated: 6 stars out of 5 in my world.

My wife liked this soap when my mom used to buy it. We thought you couldn’t get it any more. Good soap to get rid of the stank.

This is my favorite soap to use. Am glad can purchase it and wasn't very expensive. This soap works quite well and cannot think of any complaints.
