Having worked for Royal Mail and seen first hand the workings of this railway I did find much in it that I did not know. I used to take tours of public visitors down onto the platform. Many would comment that they had no idea of the trains existence. Buy it and be fascinated.

The book is a very good history of the Post Office's underground railway in London; brings back memories as I worked for the Post Office London Postal Region in the late 60s/early 70s.

My husband really enjoyed reading this book, especially as he is an ex postie himself.

I acquired because there was some specific info I wanted and it was helpful for that; don’t see it being of significant wider interest to most
