Better Packages P3S Packer 3s Tape Dispenser

So far I'm very happy with this "wet dispenser"... It's not hard figuring out the tape path like some make it sound. I choose this product because of the "wetter applied!" ;). That's the method which water is added to the underside of the tape. This unit has what I could describe as a... 3" paint brush with the handle cut off. Then turn it upside down into the water and pull the tape over it... the method works... I think there might be better and Ill try one of the different ones in a couple of weeks. As for the cutter... IT'S SHARP! Don't try giving yourself a manicure with this. It'll get you! I have learned (if I want a real good length of tape to hold, I use the back of one of mu fingers while pulling the tape with the other..I took a star off because the "wetter, cutter, tape platen" all are held down my way of a "snap clip" and some tiny thumb screws. I like the screws idea, butt what I'm going to do is "drill and tap" a set of holes for me to "RE-screw" them into after removing them from the platen. I just dont think need to come off and on each time you fill the tank or clean the brush... over I give it a solid 4! It does the job very well.

It makes your boxes look cleaner and stronger too. With the right tape you can stick it on to any quality of box and it will stick without you having to worry about it coming off like acrylic to hot melt tape.

I was not excited to buy a expensive tape dispenser for my business but I had some large heavy items to package and wanted reinforced tape. This thing is so easy to use and does such a nice tape job I have been using it for all my shipments. It may end up cheaper than the plastic packing tape in the long run.

Glad I didn't have to fork over hundreds of dollars on an automated one. However, I wish this could be a one-handed operation. I still need to hold down the blade so it can effectively gut the gummed tape. If I were doing multiple heavy order shipments a day that required gummed tape, I would probably invest in a more automated one. But for my few heavy shipments a week, this will do.Also, not sure what the surf-board shaped metal piece is for?

This thing is awesome!I don't understand how some people say it doesn't work blah blah blah...there is not much to this tool! its simple in design, robust, and easy to operate!what it does do is save you tons of time! and makes shipping fun! yeah! I know I typed FUN!plus its only a fraction of the cost Vs those fancy electric ones.

Works great, isn't as good with the extra heavy duty tape we use for our 60+ lb boxes. The tape is strongly reinforced so it takes more effort to tear off and works best if you use one hand to hold down the dispenser.Worked perfect with lighter (normal) weight tape.

Works, sort of. Often does not wet more than about 6" of tape.I would not buy again. I would return if I could.

Ive been using this for a while and I've made dozens of packages and it works perfectly.
