Turned it into Art!!
Used this FLEXTRIM molding to make a kiva fireplace work of art!!! Left it in the sun and it is very pliable, was able to twist it easily, it cuts easily with a utility knife leaving smooth edges. It took spackling and putty well, sanded out nice and painted it a high gloss Sherwin Williams and it looks like the black granite! Still some matching the room left but it’s a good start!! Very cool stuff! Thank you

Fantastic product
I used this to wrap a circular mosaic tile table top. Easy to work with (bending with the right amount of rigidity, cutting, filling holes to cover screws, and took paint well). Would definitely recommend.

Not as easy to wrk with as u think.
I have over 30 yrs experience as a professional carpenter. This is not easy to work with in my opinion even though it looks like it will be. I bought 2 for 2 archways. Followed the manufacturers instructions. Brought it indoors for 2 days to warm up then before installing put it in a room with the heat turned up in the 70s to make it more workable. Dry fit it first with clamps. Clamps didn’t deform the product. Worked perfectly but t when I applied construction adhesive it slipped all ovr the place. Clamps squeezing it made it move sideways out of place so had to fire Brad nails to secure it which stopped that sliding problem but the nails left dimples. Ripples. Waves. I’m not talking about mail holes to fill I mean dimples. I kept nails as far away from the edges as I could. I kept nails 6 inches apart as recommended. Still dimpled. I ripped off a 12’ piece and through the whole thing in the dumpster. I’m sending the unused one back so I only lost 100 dollars. ONLY! I will never use this stuff again. Give me wood. Like my father and grandfather used I will cut the arch out of a thin piece of wood steam it and bend it. I’ll cut the casing out of multiple pieces of wood and painstakingly fit each piece together and sand. No grated cheese sawdust clogging my chop saw. No microplastics all over my clothes and hair and the deck. Not the sellers fault just a difficult product that boasts ease of workability.

Works good
Bought it by the request of our contractor who is using it for a curved wall baseboard. Seems to work just like he wanted it to.

A must buy.
I was able to split the product on my table saw to give me double the amount. It was a bit pricey so I thought of how to get the best bang for my buck by splitting the strips into two. I also went to the depot and purchased some 1x6 and ripped them down to make some straight pieces. I painted them twice and here is my final accent wall. Just an fyi. If you flex the pieces too far after splitting them you may cause them to break. Not too much flex if you decide to split them. You can also cut the product with just a utility knife.

Ease of use made a tough project easy.
Great stuff! Using a band saw, I sliced 3/4” strips from the 3/4x1-1/2x12’ piece to use as curved stops on Gothic windows. Easy to use and paint. Can’t tell it from the wood stop on the straight-always. Made a tough project easy.
