This game came with 4 playing pieces Rocky, Chase, Rubble, and Marshall. They are the little pups sitting in their cars. The wheels do not move, but I expected that for a game. I have a 3 year old and a 4 year old and they both absolutely love this game! As other reviewers have stated the mat is plastic (not thin plastic) and has creases, but it really doesn't affect the gameplay. Kids take their playing piece to the beach and grab a token, they either get treats or a designated place to visit on the map. If you get treats you take them back to the lookout and your turn ends. If you get a person or a thing, you take it to the corresponding circle on the map. If there are treats of the corresponding color, you can put the treat in your car and take it back to the look out. This game teaches helping and getting rewards (and sometimes the reward is just helping someone in need). I love everything about this game. It also teaches colors and counting your treats at the end of the game. The person with the most treats at the end of the game wins, but we don't really make it about winning, because that causes kids to get upset.

This game is appropriate for a toddler. My 2 almost 3 year old grandson likes it. I did not give it more stars because I do not like the mat itself. It is a thick plastic sheet, very durable, However since it came folded in the box it cannot be laid out flat. It is difficult got the vehicles to "drive" around the town.

My 3-year-old loves Paw Patrol, so she was very excited to receive this game. The rules are simple - choose a token, deliver it to the proper location, and receive a bone as a reward. Whoever has the most bones at the end is the winner. There are no dice involved, so we don’t have to count spaces. Movement around the board is pretty free: you can choose whatever route you’d like to deliver your chosen token. You can also limit the number of tokens you begin the game with, if you’d like to shorten playing time. All in all, a simple, fun way to introduce gaming basics (sportsmanship, turn-taking) to small children.

We got this for my son for his 3rd birthday and he has not lost interest in it at all. It's a cute game that doesn't take too long to complete and has simple objectives that help reinforce counting and matching. If you have a young Paw Patrol fan I'm sure they will enjoy this game. It has a big plastic mat to play the game on that has a road on it so after the game your kiddo can ride the characters (playing pieces) around the road.

I am returning the item. My son likes the little cars, however the mat will not lay flat. It is made of a vinyl material, I had thought it would be a "rug". I should have read closer.

This is the second time I have purchased this game. The 3-6 year olds in my life played my first game so often that it started to get pretty worn out looking and pieces “disappeared!” It is definitely a winner for them!

This is a vinyl map...not rug and the players are small. It should be a little cheaper.

My 3 year old grandson and I liked playing. Easy enough for him to follow.
