Q: I want only black socks as shown in the photo but description says mixed colors - which is correct?

The black color does not exist. For 2 toe socks which I love because I can wear my slippers or Flip Flops with are multi color. They are not a "Tacky" Color. Striped with heavy base. You will see if you Amazon 2 toe socks. I have bought them 2 times already. I wear them around the house and even outside with my flip flops during the colder months. I don't give a darn what people think of them. But I love them.

Q: what color is color one and what color is color 2?

From LEFT to RIGHT (in pic): dark gray, forest green, eggplant purple, navy blue, light gray, black. If you are looking at image on your phone, may help to to turn up the screen light. I had to do that to double check the colors (:

Q: What are the washing instructions? do i use cold or warm? machine wash? machine dry or air dry?

I use cold water (as I do with most coloured clothes). I machine dry. Seems to do the job.
