The only thing that would make it better would be longer power cord. Besides that it's a very useful tool.

This item works great. It is easy to maintain and makes life so easy.

I am using this to cut ribbon and it works so well. Before this, I used a hot knife (think of a hot X-Acto knife). This machine heats upon about 30 seconds and is so hot it cuts and seals the ribbons. I have save so much time already!

It quickly heats up to a glowing red orange and then just slowly pull the loom through the blade. Be careful and remember to compress the loom so it will be easier to compress it later when inserting the wire. Use as soon as the blade begins to glow and turn off as soon as your done to conserve blade life. Use the included wire brush to clean the blade, don’t burn off material stuck to blade. The cord could be longer so it could be placed in less compromising positions ie the cord is dangling in between the hot knife and you instead of behind the knife and behind the work bench. Otherwise would have been 5 of 5.

Gets hot fast! Cuts rope perfectly and is very well built

Works like a champ for arborist rope, forgot some of my static line had Kevlar fibers in it so it didn't cut that too well but it cuts right through everything else

The media could not be loaded.  This works great for cutting my polyester webbing and ribbon for my tote bag making. Couldn’t believe how fast and evenly it cut. It’s super satisfying to use.
