Does anybody else remember about 5 years ago all those retractable and lightweight hoses they were being advertised on TV. You could find them at Meijer, Ace Hardware, and Walmart? They were very expensive 30, 40 ,50 dollars..and they always leaked and were of poor quality... well after getting frustrated with those pieces of garbage I decided to try this, and I will not go back. Please please please if you are looking at purchasing a high-quality lightweight retractable garden hose than this is the one and it is very reasonably priced. I've gone through an entire summer with no leaks and it is a godsend. One of the best products I've ever purchased on Amazon.. very happy. Exceeded all expectations

I've only had this hose a little over a week, but have watered out front twice (I need a front hose and a backyard hose). The sprayer is, by far, the best one I've had yet. I would love to get a second one for my backyard hose. The hose is better than the one I had which just split, and I thought that one was great. This hose is lightweight while also feeling sturdy. This feature is a bit hard to explain - it is lightweight enough for me to easily move it, roll it up, pull it to the furthest reaches of the front yard, but has a sort of 'weight' to it which I'm calling sturdiness or a feeling of durability. So far, this hose seems easier to keep un-kinked or untangled. For the price, I suspect this is one of the best buys available, although I've never tried one of the more expensive expandable hoses. Typically I get 1 1/2 years out of each expandable hose I buy, because I keep it next to the spigot which is in a spot that gets full sun most days. My last hose lasted me 2 years. I hope to get at least 2 years out of this hose as well. Thank you very much.

This garden hose is very compact and lightweight when not in use, and very convenient to move around. The water hose fully expands once connected to water and pressurized. During operation, there is enough latent pressure to keep the hose almost fully expanded. Kink is not an issue with this water hose.Based on the included manual, the garden hose seems sensitive to over-pressure, so I recommend to empty the hose, for example shut off the water supply and drain out water from the hose between uses to avoid excessive pressure caused by trapped water heating up in the sun.The nozzle sprayer offers many functions and works well. Build quality is good and it is comfortable to hold. Also included hose holder that can be hung at faucet and some spare rubber seals.Connectors at both ends are brass and seem to be very well made, and a shut-off valve is included at the nozzle end which makes swapping nozzles quick and easy. The on-off valve can also be used to reduce the maximum water flowrate to avoid the pressure wash effect when watering plants.Overall, this is a great value for a 100ft expandable garden hose plus nozzle for light-duty use.

I used to have a very good quality heavy 100 ft. 3/4" rubber hose. It was ridiculously heavy and definitely work to use. Tried this hose out and am converted. This is easy to use, lightweight and actually fun to use. When I'm done and squirting the remaining water out of the hose...as it empties...it shrinks...it looks alive while it's going back to it's original size and shape! It's cool. The material does snag on the concrete so I'm not sure how hearty this thing is in the long run. I hope it lasts, but still it's worth getting... probably won't be going back to the old school hose again.

I tried many other garden hoses but never been satisfied with anything. I am so glad that I finally found this. It is lightweight and high quality, and easy to use in terms of flexibility. My favorite part of this garden hose is the sprayer that came with it. It is the best one that I have ever used. It expands like magic without any tangling problems. And I love the storage bag and hanger that came with it. It is very compact taking very little space. Would definitely recommend!

Just received yesterday & my husband was amazed once he used it. I replaced the 75' hose that leaked with an awesome 100' hose. He took me outside to show me how far on property he could get, how strong it was, pressure button & spray nozzle. Old hose blew over weekend so I jumped on Amazon & started checking out hoses & doing my homework. This hose offered more than we knew we needed.

Pros: This is the best hose ever. No kink. Light weight. Easy to move around.Con: the only con is the water pressure is weaker than other typical hoses that we got. But it should be good enough.

My husband usually purchases garden hoses - but this time I put my foot down. I don't want a rugged, heavy-duty, unwieldy hose I have to struggle with and constantly un-kink. This hose is downright perfect! It was a bit creepy at first because it somewhat resembles a snake (which in southwest Florida) I'm always on the lookout for.I do lots of gardening all around the perimeter of our home. It is incredibly lightweight.I'm using the included holder gizmo which does the job without having to buy an expensive winding apparatus. I simply unwind a few loops, turn on the water and head out to wherever and when I'm done, I set the sprinkler end to stay on and drop it on the ground. When I turn the water off, the hose magically comes toward me by itself and I loop it around the holder. What could be easier?Thank you. Thank you.

It spurts water in every direction at the valve. Cannot seal no matter how tight the seal is.

My biggest question was if this was going to hold up to everyday use. We drag it across asphalt and concrete and I expected the outer fabric to rip and tear within the first month but it is holding up well. The crews like the lightweight factor compared to the heavy industrial hoses, and the shut off valve on the hose itself. If this holds up for at least 3 months of everyday use (3-4 hours a day), this will be the future of our hose requirements.***UPDATED***Still holding up strong after two months. The only thing that has broken is the shut off valve but not the end of the world. It was a bonus feature versus a needed feature.

I was looking for a lightweight hose that does not kink and found it with this hose. I was a bit worried when I got it wondering if it was long enough but once I turned my water on that worry disappeared. It is so nice that I don't have to worry about getting rid of kinks as I water my plants. I have only had it for a few weeks but so far, so good.

We purchased this hose as it advertises durable 3 layered inner latex core tube, extra-flexible high strength tough woven casing, rust-resistance solid ¾” inches brass fittings with a sturdy on/off valve; and it can withstand water pressure 3 to 12 Bars. It looks very well made and hopefully, it will last a long time.

It is great in that it contracts and it is easy to store and also no kinks when watering. I have had these kind of hoses for years and would never go back to the regular plastic hoses.
