I was so excited to get this Paleo snack book and Landria did not disappoint. I began flipping through the pages and my 5 year old promptly confiscated it chattering excitedly about "is this the new cookbook for me, is this the one I can pick any page I want, is this the one with the healthy food that we can eat whenever we want, is this the one we can use together?" She poured over it and carefully decided which snack she wanted to make first. She selected the chicken nuggets and we made them together the next day. My 2 year old and 5 year old had so much fun with the cooking process; because the set up was so easy I was able to have everything ready to go as soon as the oldest got home from school and that was key to success. My short fuse combined with her short attention span is usually a recipe for disaster when we try to cook together. This was by far the best cooking experience we have had together. Yeah!!!!!!!! At least 3 out of 4 members of our family have loved every recipe we have tried (as far as I'm concerned there is really no accounting for 2 year old taste buds). I cook from this book several times a week and not just for snacks; many of the items make great breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods as well. The short list of ingredients and simple steps make it so convenient to use and the flavors are incredible. Way to go Landria, Thank you for such a user friendly guide to healthy eating.

having trouble finding something that everyone can eat due to allergies then this is the book for you
I bought this as a wonderful way to make items that everyone can eat. Paleolithic means no inflammatory allergy foods so I can easily make something for everyone. They also happen to taste incredible so this is an easy item to write a review about. I liked it so much that I purchased another copy for my neighbor who was having a difficult time for a family party and wa_la - no more issues. Just lots of delicious and easy recips to enjoy. I especially like how it's organized as it's really easy to find what you are looking for and also that on the top of each page there is a picture that indicates which food issues the recipe works for. That makes it really clear and simple. I also like that everything is healthy so I can make a snack or a meal out of the recipes. And I have. The last comment is on the explanations about food and paleo which I found to be awesome and very clear. The info was excellently communicated and easy to understand. Some of the info I haven't seen before which made it very interesting to read from cover to cover. I highly recommend this item.

I really like this book - the recipes are easy and everything ...
I really like this book - the recipes are easy and everything I have made tastes fabulous. My one complaint is that none of the recipes have nutritional info. I would like to know the amount of protein, sugar, carbs, fiber, etc. Otherwise a great book.

Good book
This is a great basic cookbook. In other words, it's not full of fancy or difficult recipes but rather recipes that will appeal to almost anyone, including children. Some of the snacks seem more like meals to me (the soups for example) and some are definitely things you'd eat at home but there are quite a few snack recipes that are easy to take along. A few of the recipes are ones I've seen and used before (kale chip, sweet potato fries, etc.) but most were new. Some are variations on similar recipes I've tried. All in all, I found the layout and pictures very nice, the recipes are easy to read, the ingredients are common to what most people eating paleo have in their kitchens, and the Content page is great. Nothing fancy, just a great everyday snack recipe book. Great for appetizers and dessert also!

AMAZING!!!
This cookbook is fabulous! I have found it challenging to feed my kids healthy snacks and this book has some great and unique ideas. None of the recipes have a laundry list of ingredients which is a huge plus for me. I made the sundried chicken tomato sliders last night and they were amazing! The kids loved them without ketchup! I never thought I would see the day that happened. It is so great to have a unique chicken idea in the arsenal and this is such an easy thing to make for a lunch box or a weeknight meal for the whole family. This morning I made the cinnamon bun biscuits and WOW! I have struggled to make any gluten free bread that I just loved, much less a biscuit. The kids gobbled them up while I giggled since they had no idea it was such a healthy breakfast. I cannot wait to try more of these recipes! There is also a great intro session on different flours, butters, seeds, sweeteners, etc. This is definitely a must-have for any family trying to eat healthy.

Not The Best Choice if You are on a Diet
There are a lot of great recipes, beautiful photos however if you are buying this book because you are on a Paleo diet you might want to pass on this one. No calorie or portion size listed for any of the recipes. Many include high calorie ingredients minus the egg and meat dishes. Are they good for you, yes. Are they fattening, absolutely. I will use this for my cheat days not for my waistline...

Super Paleo Snacks has recipes you will use every day!
This an absolutely fantastic book and is worth every penny! We turned to paleo because our daughter has an autoimmune disease and this is one of my two "go-to" books in my kitchen because it's recipes are remarkably easy and reliable - they turn out great every time! So many cookbooks have wonderful dinners and breakfasts, but not a lot of recipes for lunches or snacks. Super Paleo Snacks fills that hole, and not just with sweets (although the nut-free muffins taste like chocolate peanut butter cups and we love the sweet potato power brownies too!), but with healthy recipes that help you pack extra nutrients in your day! I've made the crunchy sweet potato fries, kale salad, pumpkin-spice granola bars, chia pudding, and cauliflower hummus virtually every week since purchasing the book, and both my teens love to take the snacks with them during the day. I'd definitely recommend adding this book to your Paleo library!

I have tried several recipes from this cookbook and I have not been disappointed so far. The author really knows how to cook and use spices. The food is very tasty. Something that I loved about this cookbook is that I can use several recipes for lunch and dinner too.
