Emily Post's Table Manners for Kids
A**.
What every child…and adult…should know.
I decided that our kids were woefully lacking in table manners so I decided to focus on modern day etiquette in general. I bought no less than 5 books on the subject, in the hopes of finding one that would resonate with them. After going through them all, it became abundantly clear that the others were written to be read by kids…who weren’t actually going to read them. This book is written for both kids and adults, with the expectation that adults fulfill their actual role as, I don’t know, adults? We now feel empowered to work with our kids to bring them to the standards we think are socially acceptable without boring us and them. Fantastic resource that we will have within reach for years to come!

Great for teens!
Very easy to understand. Well written. Used it to help teenagers being mentored by a local police station. Great work by our police! The teens were very receptive to the lesson!

Good manners begin at home.
I love when I go out to dinner with my adult children...everything they learned about table manners started at home. I gave this as gifts to both of my daughters hoping it will help them with anything I might have missed during their youth and to guide them in training their own children. My oldest son will soon be starting up at his second American Embassy Job after another six months of preparation in DC...as a mother I never dreamed how important such skills would be for his future. Even so there are some things that just make one feel more secure in life, like good table manners...and it starts when you are a kid.

The information was great and I loved the step by step details. The way it's written works well for youth and adults.

Very little information
It is too concise. It does give a brief overview of manners. Wouldn't recommended it.

Wonderful!
This was comprehensive, and easy to read. I have been reading portions of the book to my second grade students, and they love it!Their parents are very impressed, and learning facts themselves.
